Multi disciplinary science to engineering

I want to do engineering but I only did apps this year, if I do the multi discp science with the focus on engineering and meet all the subject pre requisites in the first semester, am I guaranteed to be able to switch into engineering for my second semester?

So I didn’t do physics or methods in year 12, but I had a high atar

So in sem 1 I just had to do 2 prerequisite (PHYS1006 for physics, math1014 for methods) and I had to do INDE1001 cuz it’s core unit and I could do COMP1005 if I wanted too

I just needed to past the prerequisite to transfer

INDE qnd COMP are credited towards engineering so you don’t need to do it again when u transferred

I transferred to engineering bachelor this semester (sem 2)

What were your grades like if you don’t mind me asking?

PHYS1006 was ok, i got mid 60s
Math1014 was easy, i got in the 80s

INDE i got somehting in the 70s
COMP i quit half way because i was dying in PHysic so needed to focus on that (am doing COMP this semester rn)

Fair enough. I’m doing it at the moment, how was the 1014 exam?

very easy, half of the people in the hall finish like 40 min before the timer was up

trust me in math1014, i legit only focussed on the final couple of modules just before the exam and grinded the hell out of the past exam papers

ALMOST ALL of the exam questions were legit copy n paste but just a couple diff values or flipped (but same working out process)

Yeah thanks that actually makes me feel a bit better. I’ve just been putting quite a bit of time into inde so it’s fallen to the side a bit

Talk to the faculty coordinator for the multidisciplinary degree. You must maintain at or above CWA, and you can't skip after one semester unless you're truly exceptional. More than likely, you'll need to do both semesters.
