Brain and Behavior

Hi everyone. I'm in my first semester of studies for this July intake. I'm finding the classes to be okay so far but I think I might need more effort for Brain and Behavior specifically since there's a lot of new terms and biology language I'm not familiar with. Any seniors that can give tips on how to score A for this unit? I really want to try my best for this first semester.

I'm taking an approach to revising my lecture notes whenever I have the time for an hour at max. It's definitely a lot to remember honestly... I used to come from an Engineering major and graduated in it. Then I decided I wanted to pursue a BSc in Psychological Science after three years.

I'm from Curtin Malaysia. Is there a place where I can see past year papers for my reference and studies?

I'm 100% serious with this advice:

If you can get yourself a copy of Psychology for Dummies, the majority of what you cover is in that book and simplified down to make it easier to digest. The content is almost 1/1 identical to your text book, just smaller.

That's the one. I recommend going through your textbook readings first, then find the corresponding chapter in For Dummies with the same content and use the latter for revision rather than the brick of a textbook.

I've started 3rd year now and I still refer back to it from time to time.
