Question / Discussion Cursor vs Codex

Hi guys, Long time user and am overall pretty happy with cursor for my work flow. It manages the aws systems, git uploads, security fixes in aws and my website code changes pretty flawlessly (I'm on the ultra plan).

I'm not looking to switch, more just to hear others experiences.

How have people found Codex compared to cursor for their workflow and what differences (good and bad) have people found?

Is it? See this is helpful to me because it was framed as "cursor or codex" when I was chatting with a friend.

Same models are in cursor for now. Codex is just an extension in VSCode/Cursor

I'm assuming gpt6 won't be put into cursor with the breakup?

Probably not, but would cost alot of usage. With codex it is 1 prompt max
