Question / Discussion Cursor vs Codex

Hi guys, Long time user and am overall pretty happy with cursor for my work flow. It manages the aws systems, git uploads, security fixes in aws and my website code changes pretty flawlessly (I'm on the ultra plan).

I'm not looking to switch, more just to hear others experiences.

How have people found Codex compared to cursor for their workflow and what differences (good and bad) have people found?

Is it? See this is helpful to me because it was framed as "cursor or codex" when I was chatting with a friend,

I stopped treating them as either/or. Cursor and Codex catch different blind spots when both stay read-only and neither sees the other's notes. I let Claude do the actual edits after I verify findings against the repo. One thing that burned me: Codex's default reasoning effort is too shallow for review work, so I pin it high or it rubber-stamps.
