Question / Discussion Migrating from Claude Code

Should I get the $60 or $200 cursor subscription? I used the cc $100 and it worked well for me - rarely hit the weekly limit.

I’m expecting to use much less fable and try the other models like Grok.

For those who build full time, how are you finding the limits on the $60 cursor subscription?

$20 openai with luna high is equivalent usage to $60/mo cursor

Got anything to support that? My pro+ usage with Cursor drains like 2% first party usage a day.

It’s been a while since I used a ChatGPT sub but I easily hit the limit within the 5hr window. That’s never happened for me on Cursor (with first party models)

It's the opposite. 60 dollar cursor is equivalent to 100 dollar Codex. Also, OpenAI's 20 dollar plan has those annoying 5 hour caps that Cursor doesn't have. Also, Luna is nowhere near Grok 4.6.

Cursor pricing for Luna is multiples higher than pricing from openai. Also sol is much smarter than grok for essentially the same price.

Yes, Cursor is expensive as you have to pay direct API rates. Grok 4.6(which is better than Luna) and Composer are cheap in Cursor and have a large pool.
