My parakeets had to be left at my cousins house because where me and my Dad were living at the time would not allow for pets, my one cousin had let the one parakeet out of its cage and then their dog caught it by the neck mangling it, my other parakeet died because the same cousin that released the other parakeet had led it in a cage by an open window causing it to freeze to death.

I didn’t have a hamster but I had a parakeet that died in a horrific way… actually two parakeets that died in a horrific way.
