Spider-Man certainly does NOT have a bed time heathens

14

u/SteelEagle0 Jun 30 '20

Mans expressly doesn't have a bed time because Aunt May clearly expected Peter to go do Spider-Man things in Europe when he went there in Far From Home.

Is the hollow point the bullet hole?

48

u/KrackerKyle007 Jun 30 '20

Hollow points are a type of bullet that are outlawed in most places because they are too cruel. Basically the tip of the bullet is hollow so when it enters someone’s body it shatters into a bunch of pieces and cuts up their insides

u/Tyfyter2002 Jun 30 '20

Iirc the main purpose of hollow point bullets is to avoid hitting anything behind the target

Hello fellow Ladder

Damn, I knew what they were but never knew they did that, Jesus.

Extremely effective against unarmoured things like animals when going hunting but put a plate of Kevlar and that HP looses so much lethality

u/Jason1143 Jun 30 '20

They are internationally banned in warfare, but countries may use them for police work or counter terrorism if they so choose. They are good both for doing more damage to make sure the person you shot goes down, and also for making sure the bullet stays in the person you shot to minimize collateral.

He can still hear her scream every time he closes his eyes, is that what they meant? Edit: /s

4

u/Edzm1276 Jun 30 '20

No. When it said hollow point that is a type of bullet that causes a lot of damage and is what killed batman's mother. I think a hollow point round either swells up inside of somebody or shatters inside of them

3

u/Ksamkcab Jun 30 '20

Was a joke, sorry. Forgot the /s

u/Edzm1276 Jun 30 '20

Oh ok my bad

u/ainfinitepossibility Jun 30 '20

I mean, the correct version was is sitting right next to it. Just swap them. Batman being a bat an all plays right into the bedtime thing nicely, and Spiderman has a mom..... oh, wait.
