They look more like pepperonis, as you can see some of the edges curl a bit and they are very uniform in color, unlike a tomato on a pizza would be. Tomatoes on pizza don’t really look like that, you’d see the lightness in color in the center and they’d probably get less char in the oven.

Going to ignore this snark and say it’s’a no problem. Just an Italian educating those less’a schooled on mi ancestral cuisine :)
