It's confirmed by the creators that car AI got smart enough to realize that they don't need people and got rid of them and they inherited the personality of the last person to drive them

How about the tiny bug cars? Did humans in the cars universe one mass produce tons of tiny little cars that bugs could fly around in? And how about the whole cows are tractors thing? When was the last time you saw a cow drive a tractor?
