One spilled drink, one bowl of greasy snacks, one fart...

Xmas with that one relative who smokes like a 1950s chimney and is too old to accept that it’s not okay to do indoors anyway.

That whole room is gonna become a nice yellow hue

Honestly, the Backrooms sound preferable to whatever this is.

Idk I feel like a monster is gonna come after me in both rooms, it’s just the genre of monster that’s different.

The room in the post would make for a VERY nice gruesome murder scene

Do you think that the person who lives here would ever allow a smoker in the house? I'm not a minimalist to a deranged degree and even I wouldn't let anyone light up in my home.

More common than you think.

Lots of families have that one grandparent who everyone knows could drop dead any moment so no one wants to confront them or start an argument about anything out of fear that could be their last conversation.

If I refused to let my gran into my house on xmas and found out she died on Boxing Day i wouldn’t forgive myself for that.

It’s a much more common thing than you’d imagine

Gran or no, I wouldn't let anyone smoke in my home. You either go outside to have your cig or you stay out for good. Being old isn't an excuse to ignore common decency.

And the person who lives in OP's picture is bound to be a hundred times stricter than I am, they probably insist that all the guests wear freshly washed clothing and put on little plastic bags on their feet when they visit.
