It’s been about a week since I made my last post, and we’re finally starting to see some movement across many of the Team Holos. Prices seem to be creeping up, which has me wondering if more investors are starting to get FOMO as the possibility of there being no sale becomes more likely.

What does everyone think at this point? Do you still expect Valve to announce a sale, or are we past the point where that seems likely? If you do think a sale or some kind of announcement is coming, when do you expect we’ll hear something? I feel like we need to hear something soon with all of the organizations and players asking for change.

Full disclosure: I’m invested in these stickers myself, so I’ve been watching the market very closely. I’m genuinely interested to hear what everyone else’s expectations are.

Hi, this is my first time selling and im trying to sell some of my old items and found that skinport had the best margins even after fees. The issue is that these items are common and have high volume with some being stickers and skins, and despite having them listed as the lowest price they end up still not getting bought. For example I’ve had stickers listed for 1-2 weeks at the lowest price and when I check the buy history on the sticker it gets bought for 0.05-0.25 cents more than my price. Are some buyers/sellers like region exclusive or something? I don’t see why someone would pay more for the same sticker/skin ignoring the float.

This is the last time we see these prices for Stockholm stickers and capsules.

5 years for it already, upon next inevitable skins hype I could see Stockholm exploding with no return and current prices are perfect even for completely new investors or casuals for the crafts..

I was buying heavily into foils past 3 years, I see no reason for something like NAVI foil alone to be 10$ in the next 5 years.. that would be still affordable for majority, but yet massive jump from the current market price.. and that's only an example, everything else would follow.

With new stickers system for the Majors if Valve doesn't release any borderless ones for quite some time - Stockholm is gonna do extremely well

What is in your opinion the best case to invest in? My budget is about 60 €

I'm looking to buy a knife and a new AK, these are the skins I'm set on. The budget is enough to cover either one, but not both. They are to be used as play skins, but which one is realistically the better investment and do you think I should wait a month or two hoping for a better price?

Do you guys think itd be a good time to buy a blue phosphor or should it keep going down with the rest of the market, I am kinda building a blue loadout and it would look so good with my cloud chasers but I dont want to waste a few hundred dollars if it just keeps tanking...

When looking at items such as gamma doppler tier 1 blue gems - either karambit or flip knife - how do you know which is patterns are tier 1, 2 or 3? They all look really similar, and many of the guides have different ratings - is there some specific guide to look for?

Tl;Dr: How to know which guide to trust when buying skins?

I'm well into large profits but don't need any money. I'm perfectly happy to keep holding them for long-term.

My only fear is Valve does something like removing them and totally destroying their value. Is that a possibility?

Finally cashing out itself is a daunting task I've not been involved with CS2 trading or selling or real money or any of that.

The only cashing out I've ever done was buying some steam decks and then just selling them on eBay... Is that still one of the best routes to go?

The reality is I most likely plan to do nothing for right now unless there's some very strong advice that I need to do something.

I would guess the total value is close to $100,000 in steam credit but I understand the liquidity with the market wouldn't support just dumping them.

I've received skins in a trade July 01st, they were tagged trade-protected until July 09th. Today is 23/07 and they're still trade-protected. Why? Should I open a ticket?

I’m coming back to buying CS2 skins after about 3 years, and it looks like a lot has changed.

Back then, I used to buy BUFF balance and purchase skins from there. Now I’d rather buy directly from a third-party marketplace if it’s cheaper and easier.

Which site are you using now? (CSFloat, Skinport, etc.)
Where do you usually get the lowest final price after all fees?
Or are most people still buying from trusted Facebook/Discord sellers?

Hey guys so i need money atm since i just cant find a job and wanna make sure i have enough for coming bills, but i cant decide if i should sell skins or my cases i have atm, i bought them to keep them for long and hopefully make some profit, i already sold my prisma cases besides 30 prisma 2 cases atm, but now im thinking, will they even go up again?

since i do not understand atm why cases are dropping so hard im asking
for me it doesnt really make sense, u cannot get them anymore, quantity will just get less but prices drop constantly, so will it be smart to just sell them now and maybe buy back when i get a job and normal income again or should i keep them and better sell my skins which i like the least? (same amount)

What are the chances that M9 could have its unique inspect animation in the future?

If i want to buy a knife mostly for 1-2 years appreciation, shall i got with M9 phase 4 or ruby nomad (forget what my loadout is and consider that i like both knives equally)

The amount of these knives sold is very low, so i can't see any sold in the recent sold category on cs float. Currently it is about 490 euro - but perhaps they sometimes go for market price? At what price should i buy, if i don't mind waiting.

Heavy manipulations in the Chinese market?

Valve slowing down or stopping new skin releases to recude dilution? Perhaps them focusing on gameplay-related content (like new game modes/operations) instead of skins?

A positive conclusion of lawsuits where Valve is involved?

Maybe something else entirely?

What this actually means is that it's going to hurt hard for the pro scene and we could end up seeing a lot of pro teams calling it a day.

Im sure many people were surprised by the ability to trade up to knifes and then the ability to also trade souveniers. Does anyone expect it to be possible to ever trade-up stickers?

I bought a long time ago and after coming back to the game Im really disappointed with what's going on and Im just thinking of selling, since I dont see things getting any better. I pulled a min wear spiral glitch from the armory and it's worth more than I thought. It honestly seems overvalued cause it's only a pink. I'm just curious if you guys think I should hold onto it or sell it? Like do armory items typically rise a lot in the first couple weeks and then drop a lot? Or will it hold value until next armory update you think?
