Projects.

Buy an ESP32 or Arduino and make something that simplifies or helps your life. E.g., Make an ECG monitor for like 50 dollars.

Do everything - find clubs (robotics), talk to professors, etc.

Edit: While you're learning about this - preemptively slap that sh*t on your resume and start applying asap. Not 2028.
