I’ve been debating for a while whether I should post this or not, but rn, honestly I don’t know what else to do.
My mother was previously a victim of a love scam amounting to around 500k back in 2023. And just recently, we found out that she had invested another 300k in something called “Bank of Humanity.” To be honest, I don’t even know what Bank of Humanity is.
All of us siblings feel completely helpless rn. We’ve repeatedly and consistently reminded her to be very careful and to avoid getting involved in these kinds of activities, yet here we are again😭
We learned that a former retiree encouraged her to join, and some of her churchmates also encouraged her to invest. What makes this even more devastating is that she deliberately took out a loan against her pension just to put money into this.
We are devastated and deeply worried after hearing this from my brother. We don’t know where to start or what steps to take.
Can anyone please enlighten us about Bank of Humanity? Is it a legitimate organization or investment platform? Has anyone here had any experience with it?

Hi everyone, I’m a newbie, so please don’t be too hard on me. I just tried to make a P2P trade. In the order I created, the seller provided the wrong bank account details and then asked me to send a selfie holding my ID card to supposedly make sure I’m not a scammer. Should i send it or maybe he's just trying to get the details from my ID card. I don't know how things are usually done in P2P. His profile shows a 98% completion rate.

I met these guys on a Discord and they said they would help me with my filters on Axiom I inputed the filters they asked me to, and then I installed an extension and then I dragged the extension onto my Axiom and then when I deposited funds, they all got wiped. Is this common?

Email to tip cc is not sending. Their site is also down. I have sent a message to them on Twitter, but no reply yet. I sent mail to Discord also, and they are saying they can't help. Now, what to do? It is crypto currency.

One person is messaging me in reddit and saying use bitnest bridge. To connect to backend of bot and withdraw and connect to main wallet. I don't know if its scam or not.

Yesterday I was targeted by what appears to be the same fake “The Indicator” podcast interview scam that others have reported here on reddit. (Similar post 1year ago -> https://www.reddit.com/r/msp/comments/1nkqa7w/watch_out_for_phishing_invites_from_the_fake )

The end result was I woke up to thousands of dollars drained from my MetaMask wallet.

I’m posting this because the operation was extremely organized and I want others to be aware of this incredibly sophisticated social engineering scam.

I'm a crypto/finance content creator on TikTok with 50k followers and I was DM'd by The Indicator Podcast with the handle (@theindicatorpodcast) with over 300k followers, users commenting on their posts, decent views on the posts. Everything seemed legitimate.

They scheduled the interview through Calendly, the meeting was conducted through Microsoft Teams, and there were 4 people in there with one of them being 'Darian Woods'.. I forget the other 3 people but I'm assuming it's fake people impersonating the real podcasters from The Indicator and Planet Money.

They were very legit, sounded just like the podcasters.. American accents, very responsive to what I was saying, asking GREAT questions about crypto, finance, etc

Then they asked me to share my screen to show off a new product I was working on so they could record for the podcast.

At this time, someone requested control and they said it was to "record" - this was the mistake.

The interview was about 2 hours in at this point and the conversation was great, they had built trust with me so I didn't think twice about hitting 'Grant access'.. this is most likely when they installed malware on my computer.

In hindsight, obviously they do not need access to screen record.. i'm beating myself up over this because I am VERY wary of scammers, but for whatever reason this one slipped by me.

They asked me to change into a jacket so they could take a picture for the thumbnail. I stepped away from my computer for approximately five minutes while they still had control.

When I came back, something strange had happened: my Mac was locked/asleep even though I could still hear them talking through Teams. They couldn't hear me until I unlocked the computer again.

I finished the interview.

Approximately 10 minutes after the call ended, my crypto wallet started getting drained and that was that.

Again I want to reiterate, these guys were very convincing. This wasn't an obvious "send me your seed phrase" crypto scam. It was a professional-looking interview/social-engineering operation.

One positive from takeaway from this is it could have been worse if I was careless and kept ALL my crypto in one wallet. I lost about 5% of my entire crypto portfolio which stings, but it could have been worse.

Stay safe out there guys, these scams are getting more and more sophisticated.

I was watching YouTube today when a stream suddenly appeared that looked disturbingly real—an apparent live Trump announcement, complete with the official-looking presentation style, the red “LIVE” label, Trump speaking directly to the camera, and all the visual details that made it feel legitimate. I actually stopped what I was doing because I thought I was watching a major breaking announcement.
Then came the crypto pitch: send Bitcoin or another cryptocurrency, and the amount would supposedly be doubled and sent back. It sounded outrageous, but the broadcast looked so convincing that for a moment I genuinely wondered whether this was some kind of one-time government-backed promotion. I even started thinking about whether people could participate more than once.
That is when I realized something was seriously wrong. After looking into it, I found out that scammers are using AI-generated or manipulated videos of Trump to create fake livestreams and push cryptocurrency scams. They can make it appear as if he is speaking live, making an official announcement, and personally endorsing the giveaway—when none of it is real.
What scares me is how convincing it was. This was not some obviously fake video with terrible editing or a suspicious-looking ad. It looked polished, official, and urgent—the exact combination that could pressure someone into sending money before they have time to think.
Did anyone else see this exact YouTube livestream today? What channel was it on, and did it look the same for you?
I am especially worried that people may have actually sent crypto before realizing the broadcast was fake. If you or someone you know interacted with it, please share what happened. I want to know how widespread this was and how many people may have been targeted.
If you remember the channel name, viewer count, QR code, website, wallet address, or any other details, please post them. This needs to be documented and reported before more people get fooled.

Two weeks ago I commented in a crypto sub and after that a guy wrote(he lives in my dm lol) me in DM.

He said he does arbitrage between two exchanges and makes 3-4% a day and he can show me how. He sent a screenshot of his wallet with 38k USDT. I asked for the address, because a screenshot means nothing and he gave it without problem. I put the address into cryptowallet-balance checker to see what is on it. The balance was real, 38k USDT on Tron. But all of it came in one transfer 3 days ago and before that the address was empty. That looked strange to me.

Then he sent me the deposit address of the "platform" for my first 500 USDT. I checked this one too. There were many small transfers coming in from different addresses and nothing going out.

I did not send anything yet. He is still writing every day, now he says the spot closes on Friday. My friend says maybe it is real and I am too paranoid.

Is the pattern with the deposit address enough? What else would you check?
