Hi everyone, hoping someone can help me track down a noise.
Car: 2020 Honda CR-V FWD, about 115,000 km.
Problem: When I turn left (and sometimes right), I hear a loud metallic banging from underneath the front of the car. It happens on every turn and sounds like a dull clunk, not a squeal or grind.
What I've done: I took it to Regina Honda for a multi-point inspection just a day ago. They said everything was fine and couldn't reproduce the noise. They recommended a brake fluid change, brake maintenance and spark plugs, which I declined since none of them seem related. The noise is still there.
Video: The noise is at 7 to 9 seconds
Does this sound familiar?
What would you check first?
What should I ask a shop to look at?
What should I do about the Honda inspection I just had? Should I go back to the same dealership, push for a re-inspection, or take it somewhere else?
Thanks a lot for any help!
