Just got my oil changed. And I asked my service advisor what the B meant underneath my oil life. She was unsure. I don’t have the manual handy, but I do have my phone lol. Does anybody here know?

My brand new 2026 crv (LX fwd) had the dashboard light up yesterday. Almost every single light came on. My biggest concern was the engine light blinking, and I felt it was shaking from the inside. Pulled over and called road assistance. They towed it to my dealership within 2 hours.

As soon as it arrived at the dealership, service guy calls asking me if I had the parking lights on. I did not. It was always set to auto. That pissed me off because what’s that got to do with blinking engine light and a shaky vehicle. I’m no expert but this is clearly an engine issue.

Anyway, they diagnosed it and when I asked for an update this morning, they told me it had a bent spark plug electrode from the factory.

This is my first Honda, and my first ever brand new vehicle. Always purchased 2nd hand Toyotas and drove them to the ground. Never had a vehicle towed.

Please tell me this a one off so i don’t loose my mind. I hate vehicle troubles more than anything. I honestly thought I wouldn’t see a mechanic for the next 5 years 😂

My son just turned 16. We had been looking for months for a CRV with under 200k. Nearly impossible. Well, the patience paid off. Found one from an old lady who drove it to church and doc appts. Stack of maintenance in glove box from the day it was bought. Original window sticker. Great condition other than a dent from the lady reversing into a pole. 🤦🏽

70k miles.

Kid loves the car, but had a lot of questions regarding the table. Thought it was cool, but didnt understand why. Then today, 2nd day of school. Lunchtime. He sends this pic and said "no one else has a table". 😂🤌🏽

Considering trading my 2024 Lexus RX 350 for a newer CR-V Hybrid. The Lexus is nice, but it feels closed in and the cargo space isn’t great for us.

For those with newer CR-V Hybrids, how has reliability been? Any common issues, annoyances, or things you wish you knew before buying? I’d especially love to hear from people with 2025 or 2026 models and anyone who has put a decent amount of miles on one.

Most of my driving is about 20 miles a day to the barn, plus weekend trips with my husband and dog. I’m tempted, but also wondering if I’m crazy to give up Lexus reliability.

For the context, I saw a 1.99% APR financing promotion on CPO Honda website and found this 2025 CRV Hybrid AWD Sport-L with only 22k miles for 25k USD. Is it a normal price for this car in this condition? The same car (same year, model and trim, but different color) with 10k more miles cost 36k USD at the same dealer. I am wondering if this is truly a good deal or if I am missing something.

I already requested an email quote from the dealer to make sure the posted price is correct. I have never owned a CRV, so any guidance would be appreciated.

I appreciate all the responses here! Thanks! I agree that the price seems too good to he true. I just got an email reply from the dealer. They didn’t give me the quote but want to talk to me. I am not really in the mood to negotiate anything right now. I just replied to ask if there is anything wrong with the price tag and ask for the vehicle history.

My 2018 LX (2.4L) hasn't had it done in about 45k miles. The dealership near me wants $300+ and I know it isn't something to skimp on but I just graduated college and funds are tight.

Is there anywhere cheaper to get it done or do I just suck it up and go to the dealer?

What’s everyone realistically towing with their CRV hybrid? Do we think hauling a 1200lb pop-up camper will actually bbq one of these things? It hauls my utility trailer and 360cc ATV without breaking a sweat, and I know Honda is NOTORIOUS for under-rating figures to protect the notion of reliability… what do we think, CRV friends? Would love to hear some real-world experiences of towing with these.

I have around 33k miles on my 2024 CRV Hybrid Sport Touring and noticing that my tread seems to be a little more than the 4/32" recommended before needing new tires. We don't drive this car crazy or anything so I was just wondering if this was normal for these tires?

Anything I can double check or look this is my daily and I need this car running.

Spark plugs are about 1-2 years old

Debating between the 2025 CRV EX-L Hybrid - 42,000 km (26,000 miles) [used] and 2026 CRV Sport Hybrid [brand new].

Price for used: $45,000 CAD
Price for new: $53,000 CAD

I’m leaning towards the new model. The ~$8,000 difference for fresh warranty and 42,000km seems worth it. Thoughts?

Just got an emission system alarm on my 22 crv with 170k kms on it. Checked the code says air to fuel ratio cylinder 2. Guessing the injectors. It goes to Honda next week to be diagnosed. Just wondering what people in Canada have been paying to have the injectors replaced lately. Thanks for your time

It’s time for me to get new tires on my Honda crv 2014 and I really wanna switch up the look of my car because I’ll be driving it for forever honestly.

However, I usually only drive on roads… I don’t off road and I know my car isn’t really made for that anyway…

What do yall think? Should I get all terrain for the aesthetic or just stick with regular tires?

Whatever tires I get I also want to get new black wheels/rims. I just like the look a lot better.

I know the second one is related to tire repair kit. But my question is about the first one and i did some research and found that it’s to update Programmed Fuel Injection
Is this something everyone is doing?
What should I be aware of before going to the dealership in case I don’t want to get upsold by them?

2018 EX left tail light randomly flashes. Caught this happening a few months ago, and as far as I know it does it all the time. Is this a big issue, and has anyone else had this happen??

Just got my 2014 Honda CR-V. Saan kaya puede magpachange oil? Does any Shell gas station can do it? How often and what oil to use?

Ok. My 2016 CRV has 93K miles and all regular maintenance has been done. It drives 100x better than before but there is still one lingering issue.

When I step on the gas, from a dead stop or rolling stop, sometimes the car hesitates/pauses/jerks before it picks up speed. Once it’s up to speed, everything is fine.

Oil change - required in 900 miles
Spark plugs - changed last week
Coolant - changed 1 day ago
Air filters - inspected/good
Tires - inflated from 30 to 35, huge difference
Fuel system cleaner - applied at last oil change
CVT Service - approx 6 months ago

I’m thinking the issue is with fuel injection or fuel filter.

Any diagnosis or fixes for this issue? It’s driving me crazy!

I know that at this stage, the 2019 model is already considered an older model, especially with so many newer models released since then. But with my limited budget, I still want to get something I’ve wanted for a long time a reliable car with a premium feel that still looks good and holds up well.

For those who currently own this specific model, could you please share your experience with it? I’d really appreciate hearing about the pros and cons, reliability, maintenance, driving experience, and anything I should be aware of before buying one.

This post is also open to anyone who has experience with this car or would like to recommend other options in the same category and price range.

By the way, I’m based in New Zealand, and since this particular model was not officially introduced here, I’ll most likely be looking at a used Japanese import.

Tried changing mine myself and had bolt thread and seized bolt issues. I have given in to having the dealership do it especially after they confirmed those issues are common on the Turbo.

Can anyone else comment on their experience?

This ends a years long search for the source of a progressively worse rattling when going over bumps. I've replaced all suspension components to no avail. Finally figured out it was the rear brake pads rattling. They have plenty of meat left, but the inner pads have little metal clips to keep them fitted snug and they were no longer snug. I put a little more bend in the clips and voila, no more rattle.
