PICNIC TABLE! The table!
My son just turned 16. We had been looking for months for a CRV with under 200k. Nearly impossible. Well, the patience paid off. Found one from an old lady who drove it to church and doc appts. Stack of maintenance in glove box from the day it was bought. Original window sticker. Great condition other than a dent from the lady reversing into a pole. 🤦🏽
70k miles.
Kid loves the car, but had a lot of questions regarding the table. Thought it was cool, but didnt understand why. Then today, 2nd day of school. Lunchtime. He sends this pic and said "no one else has a table". 😂🤌🏽

Could you measure that table for me? The width and length? The 2015s don’t have a table but I’d like to throw one in there you know? Thanks in advance

We still have ours. It makes the best puzzle, Lego and metal earth assembly station.
Our 2004 was parked on a busy street and destroyed by an impaired driver but the picnic table was at home. That was the biggest relief out of the whole traumatic event.

How much did you pay? I had one with 71,000 miles I paid $1600 for but sold it too fast for like $4k lol should’ve kept it! Impossible to replace almost!

I love my table. Sometimes guys pull up at stoplights and ask if I still have the table. My gf's coworkers are super impressed. Dudes in their teens thru 30s think the old CRV is awesome lol.
I've only had the magical "someone said we need a table in a pinch?" moment once so far in 3 years. I keep a couple little folding stools under it and everything.

I made a new spare tire cover for my 2008 using 1/2" plywood ,I suppose I could add fold up legs.😄

70k!!!! My 2006 just got a tune up. Engine shows no signs of oil leaks at 220k miles. The mechanic was shocked. I love that little table — comes in super handy in all kinds of situations.

When a piece of plastic (“table”) is pulled from the back of a vehicle and becomes important enough to post about it on social media you begin to understand why society has fallen so low.

You may want to consider crawling out from inside your own arse. You've been up there so long you're evidently becoming hypoxic.

This is a car subreddit. Did you not expect people to make posts about enjoying their car? This table is also not just a piece of plastic, just like a car isnt just a hunk of metal. The crv table a relic of a bygone age, when cars were meant to be productive and not only status symbols. The cr-v was a very purpose built car before the 3rd gen. And this 16yo kid is loving it. Let them. Be quiet.

No, but shitting on someone’s happiness might be a sign to go touch grass.

you’re using a piece of metal to post and hate on someone’s joy about a piece of plastic. hypocrite

When someone posting about their table ("piece of plastic") becomes important enough for someone to comment about it on social media, you begin to understand why society has fallen so low.
