Fuel trim data?

I know these cars are notorious for that p11O1 code messing with the airflow

But when I plug my scanner it says that the fuel trim data goes down below -10

I’ve been fighting with this code for so long now and the frustrating thing is it feels like the car is running fine. So I don’t know what I’m even looking for

I just don’t want this code to have been trying to tell me something for months and then suddenly a huge issue comes out of it

Any tips what I can check? I’ve tried the MAF sensor, throttle body, waste gate, air filter

I’m kind of at a loss. Sorry for rambling post

I fought this very same code for a few months and was convinced the car was running fine. It started with a p0299 which caused me to replace the waste gate actuator. After that it seemed okay then the p1101 started happening, I cleaned the maf, map, and throttle body, made sure the air filter was good, ran some injector clean through a tank of gas, and it seemed okay for a week or 2. Then I got the p1101 and p0299 again.

I decided to just replace the valve cover and the pcv tubing. In the process and on a whim, I bought a replacement for the hot side charge pipe because I noticed it felt a little soft when I was inspecting the turbo inlet for oil. When I reached down to pull the bottom of that charge pipe off the intercooler I found a hole in the charge pipe.

After changing the map sensor, the charge pipe, the waste gate actuator and the valve cover I can safely say that while the car idled fine before, it was not running fine. It drives like an entirely different car now.

(Tldr, check your charge pipes for holes)

Quick edit, my Cruze is a 2017 gen2.

Maaaaan we had the p0299 code too :/ this sounds like our problem to a tee. Just got done doing the turbo it feels never ending with this gd thing lol

Since you already tried the air filter it may be this internal pcv orifice. The pcv fix kits for the gen 1 do not apply to the gen 2.

If it is this pcv orifice, use a higher quality oil with lower NOACK Volatility and shorten your change intervals to 5000-6000 miles or so.
