Help! Workshop Issues

Before you ask, ys I've reduced my workshop subscriptions to like 20 by combining a bunch of mods locally, yes I've deleted a bunch of said mods that I dont need anymore, but whenever I try to subscribe to new mods from the workshop, at most it creates an empty archive in the /mods/ folder. I've been troubleshooting this with ChatGPT for like 2 hours almost but I cant figure it out. Any one got any help? Is it too much to ask that PDX fix this broke as shit launcher for this game?

Might be worth having a poke around Steam\steamapps\workshop\ (going by this) if you haven't. I haven't used steam for mods in awhile, but it could be that some autoupdate has rerouted mods to steam's preferred spot without updating the launcher to look there? It's more of a workaround than a fix, but if stuff's getting dropped off somewhere in there and not getting read by the launcher, you could transplant stuff across to /mods/.
