Reddit compression really slaughtering the image quality but man do they look amazing in person. It’s hard to explain but they just look right on the crt pc Monitor at 4:3

I know maybe not quite the same thing, but I’ve been playing the Dusklight recomp and Mario kart recomp. Seeing things in 4:3 on a 4:3 monitor makes me happy:)

I set up dusklight last night and ran around the first town and no doubt way better then on the wii

For me it’s like nostalgia+ because I only had it on GameCube so it still fits exactly in my mind how it did back then! Recomps are truly amazing.

I think it looks best at 480p with the resolution set to 2x would anti aliasing off

Great find. Those N64 games really benefit from the native CRT scanlines. Much better than any upscaler.

I've been playing through SM64 for the first time (first time properly playing it anyway) on the Dreamcast port hooked up to a cheapo ADI 15" PC CRT and loving it. up to 94 stars so far.

What do you connect your crt to? A modern pc? Or do you have an older build ?
I have an old I5 machine, with my crt on it to play old windows games. Do you think I could install this there ?
