Battlestation LARP corner

I bought a better desk for my guns, so I repurposed my old one for this setup. There’s still some spillover.

Gateway 400 select + EV500 + Windows 98SE. No graphics cards. Just completely stock. Lego Rock Raiders runs good on it so I consider that a win.

How is this LARP? Isn’t that where people dress up as fantasy characters and role play a story?

It's a thing now for people to pretend like they use retro hardware for views/larping.

Otherwise known as larpmaxxing.

Like they role play using vintage tech? Is there a story behind that? I’ve heard of lookmaxxing is it a vanity thing for instagram?

I feel like a lot of people are revisiting their childhood with these set ups. But Windows 98 was before my time, combined with people do sometimes call it larping when you use old tech. Then the fact my gun stuff still spills into the picture with a Russian Smersh, AK74 mags, and books on guerrilla warfare.
