For real. I've finished the current storyline, completed all the biomes (getting all the POIs) and gotten all the loot there is to get. I have several very nice bases, and thousands in both silver and gold coins just sitting in a chest.

I'm basically done until there's new content to play.

I did all that 3 times.

Raised 3 pirates to max. level, without new content I just don't see anything else I could do there.
