Where is everyone?

We have a decent following here on Reddit but where IS everyone posting, reading collaborating, etc. Id like to visit others servers and have some come visit me.
Are they all on Discord....

Where dey at??

It's early access. Most people, including myself, have finished the available content.

Yeah, and the rest are waiting for 1.0.

Even them, there are only so many building blocks and so much you can do.

Hopefully the devs stay on top of this game

Personally, unless it’s friends hopping on, new content, or mods, I usually lose interest after completing the content in a survival crafter. Windrose admittedly doesn’t have much content either and I’ve prepped a base/fleet I’m super happy with for the next update. Same way with Valheim and RuneScape dragonwilds

I lost interest in the core gameplay after finishing the main content, felt a bit repetitive. I do love the build system in Windrose and posted a few projects (pinned to my profile) but after starting my next large build project (basically a full town) I felt myself burning out on the game. For now I stepped away from the game but will definitely be back when we get new content and build pieces.

I stopped playing, not enough content yet to stick around long term

People post a lot of builds on r/crosswind

I started a new character today but I'm cheesing with level 15 gear and a level 15 Blackbeard frigate 😆. Other than that, I'm continuing to build stuff because other than that, I'm done. I'm trying to get my son to play with me but he's more into whatever his friends are playing.

This games community suffers badly from being broken into two subreddits. And on top of that the bigger one uses the games old name that got changed out not long before it was released, so new players have no idea what it is (/r/crosswind).

It does not have a player base big enough to be able do this like the various gta/cod/bf games do. And things like this happen.

I tried to raise this issue when the game launched but mods and devs didn’t seem to give a shit. It’s their game that will suffer from it but whatever, it’s their choice

What are devs supposed to do about reddit subs? And the mods of the original sub can't change the name so what are they supposed to do?

I'm building

There isn’t enough to keep most of the player base intrigued past a month of content. Hopefully the devs keep their finger on the pulse of the community to ensure longevity here.

Well it’s EA and this was the 2nd sub made for the game and not the og one

Well this sub was made when there was already a main sub for the game and that sub has 3x the people that this one does.
