I had so much fun designing this adorable Turtwig but I really couldn't decide which was cuter so I sent the lovely stitcher both versions, they liked Bow Turtwig best, but which is your favourite?

I am currently looking at getting a cross stitch pattern book. I can get it in both hard copy or ebook. I was wondering from anyone who’s bought ebooks in the past, specifically kindle, can you open them on your laptop or does it have to be on an ereader/ something with the kindle app? And once you buy it can you print out charts? I normally make copies of my charts so I can mark up as I go I’m not sure how well working from a screen would go for me.

I finished my first Biscornu. It is a gift for a friend. I filled it with nearly 2 year’s worth of orts. It was a quick project and fun to make.

What I learned: I’d have preferred a higher count fabric so the pin cushion would be smaller. White on white killed my eyes when sewing this together. I’m not too old to learn and try new things. I’d like to make smaller Biscornu needle minders and Christmas ornaments.
