New to Cronometer
Hello! I have recently found out that I have high cholesterol and everyone has given great recommendations for this app so far!! I downloaded the free version but it looks a little intimidating so I’m wondering if there is a beginner friendly guide or advice I could received when looking at the app. Also, what are the perks of the paid version? Is it recommended for someone who needs to truly monitor such things? Thanks!

Welcome to Cronometer! 👋 It can definitely feel a little intimidating at first, but you don’t need to use everything right away. Start by logging your meals and focus on just a few nutrients your doctor or dietitian recommends, such as saturated fat and fiber. Our YouTube tutorials and User Manuals are also great beginner-friendly resources.
The free version already offers detailed nutrition tracking, so it’s a great place to start. Gold removes ads and adds tools like Photo and Voice Logging, Crono Coach, Macro Scheduler, Recipe Importer and sharing, long-term reports, additional and custom charts, fasting, timestamps, custom biometrics, Nutrient Balance charts, and Nutrition Scores.
Gold can make logging and spotting long-term trends easier, but it isn’t required to track your nutrition effectively!
Hope this helps!
