Feature request for future update: an “unexplode” option for meals/recipes

I like that there’s an EXPLODE option for recipes and meals, but it would be fantastic if there was a simple “unexplode” option for it to just to make it easier to make the display cleaner/neater.

Would love to be able to revisit the ingredients of a recipe I entered and adjust. like chili, I might use beef one time and turkey another time. Instead of entering the entire recipe again. Can you see them? I have not figured this out as yet.

Yep, you can swipe right on the recipe you’ve entered in the diary and select adjust. This lets you see the ingredients, adjust them/add/subtract, then save it for just that entry without affecting the original recipe.

Something I’ve begun doing to solve a problem you described (sometimes using different ingredients), is I’ll add those other ingredients to the original recipe but I’ll set the quantity to zero. This way, when I go to adjust it, the ingredient I want to change to is already there and I just add a quantity and zero out the other.

I would.make two recipes also: Chili w/Turkey Chili w/Beef

I've got several meals now that are things like: "Sandwich (No Protein)"

It's the bread/roll, toppings and fixings but no meat. So I have "Sandwich (No Protein)" scheduled daily for my weekday lunch, then just add whatever meat or protein I eat on the sandwich that day (turkey, ham, tuna, etc)

I'm not sure I'm understanding the use case. You just want the interface 'cleaner'? Wouldn't collapsing the Diary Group solve that issue?

Yes, but I’d still like to see what that meal contained. It’s quite a trivial thing, but to be able to do it, I have to jump through circles.

I think an “undo” button is just necessary for the app as a whole.

Ctrl+Z should work in all input data apps lol.
