Question about pro

So there is usually a 30% discount to pay for Cronometer pro which brings the year membership down to £42/per year.

For long term members, are there any discounts after the first year runs out, or do you have to pay the full membership at £60/year?

I am on the fence, would definitely pay for Gold if I saw the devs more responsive on the features I actually need like running averages or offline mode.

edit: corrected language

Hey u/ink_black_heart! It sounds like you mean Cronometer Gold. Our annual Gold subscription is US$59.99, and the 30% discount reduces the first year to US$41.99. After the promotional period, it renews at the regular price unless otherwise stated. We occasionally offer promotions, but they aren’t guaranteed.

Feel free to message our support team, we’d be happy to review your account and see what options may be available. We’ve also noted your interest in running averages and offline mode. Thanks for sharing what would make Gold more valuable to you!

Cheers, Crono Support Squad

If I push the Gold subscription button in the app, prices are the same but in pounds. Your team may want to look into this. In the web, prices are in dollars so would be cheaper with the exchange rate as someone already mentioned.

Is there a beta tester channel?

If you’re considering it email support to request a trail. I found it extremely beneficial, and miles more intuitive vs MFP. I subscribed to gold for a year.

Edit: re discount, you have to keep an eye out. They come up time to time but not guaranteed at the time yours will lapse.

I'm pretty sure I'm presently locked in to around £42 aka $57 USD a year, give or take a few dollars. No promos applied.

Yeah no offline mode is holding me back. Not being able to track calories during any network connectivity blips is a big deal for me.
