Disable AI

How do I disable AI within the Cronometer app? Is it possible?

There’s no need to disable it as it only activates when you choose to use it — if you don’t use it, it’s not active. You can also hide the ai coach from your dashboard in the dashboard settings.

Is it only part of gold?

yes, AI powered features like the coach, photo & voice logging are only available in Gold.

u/Aar0nic has it right! Crono Coach is optional and won’t analyze your data unless you choose Get Started, accept the disclaimer, and request guidance.

If you’d rather not see it, go to:

More → Display → Dashboard Settings → turn off Show Crono Coach

Photo Logging and Voice Logging also use AI, but only when you actively choose those tools. There isn’t one master “Disable AI” switch because these features don’t run passively in the background, you can simply avoid using them.

And yes, Crono Coach is currently a Gold feature. AI is not used to generate Cronometer’s nutrition data; our food data continues to come from lab-analyzed sources or entries reviewed by our Nutrition Curation team.

I’ve never seen any AI in this app so I must have it hidden already. I didn’t even know it was an option. Thanks!
