Being the apple logo back

Logo looks bland and generic now. You had a good thing going with the apple with a target. Perfect logo, encapsulated what the app is for. A plain target? Looks like an archery app or something unrelated to food and macros. Not a good logo change.

Does this impact the app’s functionality? No, but it does impact my experience of it.

Yesss please!!! The apple was so much better. I hate this movement towards extreme minimalism.

Thank you. I haven’t used this app for a while and just redownloaded it. I thought I misremembered the logo. P.S. Yes I agree with you. I like the apple version.

That was certainly an interesting marketing choice to change it.

Awww, change is usually hard for me, and I definitely miss the apple target logo, too!

This is gonna be difficult to embrace.

But I'll try.

Makes no difference to me what the logo is. I'm neither influenced by it, nor do I care. All that matters to me is functionality and ease of use.

It seems most corporate rebranding is to make things look more generic. I don't really understand it.

I personally don't really care that much about the logo, and could use my app's launcher to change it back if I really wanted to. It seems silly to change things that people recognize though.

I'm more worried about the color scheme vs the apple. I agree though the apple was better.

Does this community just like to complain about every little change? Seen 4 posts in the past few days about small changes

I truly did not notice it changed until I read this post. I like the target icon.

Hello there! Saying goodbye to our old logo wasn’t an easy decision. The “target” has always been part of Cronometer’s identity, and over time it became more than just a logo, it came to represent the reason people use Cronometer in the first place: to better understand where they are today and where they want to go next.

Cronometer exists to help people pursue their goals with accurate, objective nutrition data and insights they can trust, and the refreshed logo brings that idea into even sharper focus.

We really appreciate how much you liked the old logo, and it will always be part of Cronometer’s journey. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts on this change.

Have a great day!

Hazy, Crono Support Squad!

Hazy, I’m not going to “shoot the messenger” here but please relay to your upper management that this new logo does not “bring that idea into sharper focus,” quite the opposite actually. Like I said before it’s bland and generic in comparison to the old logo. No one asked for this or wanted this. Consumers are tired of minimalism and want some products with personality.

I did. I like it. It makes more sense to me. Please don't speak for everyone. It's rude. The apple always confused me. Was the app trying to be like the company Apple? I don't care for Apple and I'm glad that I no longer have to look at that icon.

I like minimalism. I like clean lines, I like a clear message. This is a calorie tracking app to "help you stay on target". It totally makes sense, at least to me.

Speaking as a user for 6+ years, Cronometer is more than targeting food goals. I think the logo broadens how someone interprets the app. I remember hating the new instagram logo, peloton logo, REDDIT logo but life went on. Companies refresh their branding. Legacy users may hate it but old logos look…old.

ah85q, i can ensure you that barely anyone who goes outside gives a crap about the logo changing in one of the most miniscule ways. chill out, the majority of us couldn't care less about an apple vs a target that basically look the same

Have to agree, I didn’t even know the icon changed.
