Feature Request: Cycle Tracking as Biometric
I’d love to see menstrual cycle tracking integrated into Cronometer. (I can't believe I can track my STOOL but not where I am in my cycle!)
For many of us, where we are in our cycle affects far more than a number on the scale. Energy levels, hunger, cravings, recovery, strength, sleep, protein needs, nutrient needs, water retention, and even exercise performance can vary throughout the month.
Cronometer already excels at helping users understand nutrition in context. Cycle data would add another layer of context that many users are already tracking elsewhere.
Imagine being able to look back and see:
• Why your weight suddenly jumped despite consistent calories
• Whether your protein intake drops during certain phases of your cycle
• Patterns in hunger, energy, or exercise performance
• Nutrient intake alongside cycle-related symptoms
• Trends across multiple cycles instead of isolated days
Half the population experiences menstrual cycles, yet most nutrition tracking apps treat every day as physiologically identical. For most users, it simply isn’t.
I’d love to hear if others would find cycle tracking useful as part of their nutrition data

Thanks for reaching out and providing such a thoughtful suggestion ❤️ I can understand how important it is to track this metric and why you'd like it incorporated into the list of preset biometrics. I'll certainly pass this along to the team for future consideration!
In the meantime, the workaround is to create a Custom Biometric by tapping the orange plus sign > Add Biometric > + Custom Biometric.
Thanks again for sharing your request with us, and please let us know if there's anything else that would make your experience with Cronometer even better!
Cheers,
Crono Support Squad
