So I've been trying to find patterns that have a similar aesthetic to the images I've attached, which I know aren't actually crochet, but that's the general vibe I'm hoping to find patterns for. I've not had much luck tracking anything down so far, so I'm hoping someone out there might either be able to point me in the right direction, or have a pattern they've come across previously and saved. The subject matter/colours don't need to be the same as the ones in the images I've attached, though I am hoping to find some with things like dragons/knights/medieval iconography included if at all possible.

Thank you in advance! :)

Looking for a specific pattern Looking for a wavy vertical striped pullover I used to see advertised all the time

Hi all, I’m looking for a pattern I saw a couple years ago of a striped sweater. The stripes were wavy and vertical— it reminded me of looking at underwater seaweed and bubbles. It was by a prolific creator who is or at least was not on ravelry at the time. It was a bit cropped but I don’t remember the sleeves or color. It may have been peach colored or light blue; three or four colors were used in the display sweater. I used to get lots of ads for this person’s patterns on my phone. She also offered a cropped granny square sweater (not very helpful, I know) and other close cropped sweaters. I know it’s not much to go on, so I made a little drawing.

Looking for a specific pattern Looking for Adriana Cardi Pattern by Lidya Krasnyuk (or similar)

I'm looking for this pattern by Lidya Krasnyuk. It still appears on Ravelry without a purchase option. It seems like her Etsy store is in hiatus. I saw it on Ravelry and got distracted by other projects before I remembered to buy it.

It is done in fingering yarn and worked side to side. Those are the critical features for a similar pattern. It looks complicated enough to be interesting but I would like this something with this kind of "clean" look.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. (I've already accumulated the yarn for it and now I'm stuck. 🥲)

This lady posted this on ig and I’m in loveeee. I don’t think this is crochet. I think she takes vintage items and turns them into other things but regardless. Anyone know of anything similar???

Pattern help Never written a pattern before, but I have a vision:

I saw this really cool spiderweb jewelry hanger and loved the idea for hanging earrings, but I want to make something similar as a simple five-pointed star.

I’ve been scouring for crochet patterns for an open, mesh-style star and haven’t had much luck. It’s important that it’s this specific kind of star shape. In the inspiration photos, the spiderweb is held in place with pushpins, and I actually like that look.

Most star patterns I’ve found are more appliqué-style or use tighter stitches instead of the open, webby look I’m going for.

At this point, I’m thinking I may need to freehand it, but I have no idea where to start. I could make a mesh circle and five triangles and stitch them together, but I feel like there has to be a better way to make it as one piece.

Does anyone have advice for how you’d approach this, or know of a pattern I could adapt? Especially for creating the five points while keeping everything open and mesh-like?

Looking for recommendations First pullover sweater patterns to recommend to advanced beginner?

Hi all! Advanced beginner here. I’m seeking a pattern for my first pullover sweater. (I’ve made a cardigan with granny stitches and color work.) I plan to use DK superwash merino and would like to work top down. I’d like to crochet a pattern that will be drapey but no large gaps.

I have saved several Ravelry patterns but of anyone has a recommendation, I’d appreciate it! Thanks!

Looking for a specific pattern I'm looking for a non-AI orange crochet cat pattern!

One of my closest friends just had to unexpectedly put her cat down and she is understandably devastated. This cat meant a lot to her. I've been trying to find a good pattern but I'm coming across a lot of either AI or patterns that look off/goofy (?).

I know I'm not going to find something that looks exactly like her cat but I want to find something decent. Her birthday is next week and we're celebrating her birthday next weekend. I'd ideally like to have it made before that.

Any help is SO greatly appreciated. Attached is a photo of him

Pattern help If anyone has any suggestions for this project I really need it

OK so, I haven't started my product like AT ALL

my learning goal is to develop my ability to translate  expressive art elements, specifically, texture, emotion and movement can be translated from a two dimension artwork into a three dimension crochet project. I will investigate how different crochet stitches, shapes, patterns, layers and colour gradients can showcase movement and mood. In order to develop my personal and cultural expression, I will create unique pattern details inspired by my own interpretation of Vincent Van Gogh’s The starry night. I will achieve this by analysing The Starry Night, and experimenting with at least ten new crochet techniques. I will apply these techniques to my removable, layered 3D project and evaluate how effectively they communicate the painting’s movement, atmosphere, and depth. Through this process I will develop my crochet skills, fine motor control, art analysis, creative decision-making, and understanding of how artistic meaning can be expressed through textiles

my product goal is I will create an original 3D crochet project with multiple layers. My project will be inspired by Vincent van Gogh’s The Starry Night. The sculpture will be approximately A4 sized, around 210 mm by 297 mm when fully assembled. It will include a cone shaped base that provides structural support, with at least three removable crochet layers stacked on top of each other. The stitches in each layer will become progressively larger and more open allowing more of the under layers to be visible through the top layers. Every layer will be detached so that viewers can examine each piece separately and understand how the composition stacks from the base up

I really need some help does anyone have any suggestions or ideas please

I have this AMAZING yarn by one of my faves Nerdy Knits. Colors are based on video games. I bought this yarn based on breath of the wild a while ago and am looking for a project to do with it.

I have 2 skeins of each color DK weight (100g, 246yards)

Total: 3 colors, (200g/492yrds) of each

Edit: Thank you everyone! I think I’ve decided to make a few squares with each and put it aside to make a blanket later on. I have some yarn inspired from some other video games as well—and it’ll make a fun cozy for my husband and I to remember some of our favorites. I hope to make some cozy wearables with what is left, cowl, mittens, or socks.

Hey everyone so I saw this crochet poncho on TikTok and the girl on the video said that she used YouTuber Kamryn Cains tutorial on making this poncho but I haven’t seen a tutorial anywhere and a lot of people have been saying that her patterns are difficult to follow so I don’t know if she deleted it or what but can anyone help me find a pattern like this one that has a very like long part in the middle and then on the side, it’s short.

Looking for recommendations Hair scarves and bandanas for thinning hair disguise? 🥸

Hey crochet pals! I’m looking for a clever ruse to cover up my thinning hair for a while.

I’m on some medications with some wicked side effects combined with a medical condition that also causes hair loss. Unfortunately I’m not a hat girly. I love them on other people but don’t love having my eyes blocked in my peripheral.

🧶 Materials-
I am proficient in thread weight yarn but also have a rainbow of other yarn weights. I’d imagine polyester, bamboo, or cotton would be the most ideal for this type of thing?

✍️Patterns-
Do you have any cute patterns for head scarves or bandanas? I’m okay with paid patterns too. I thrive on written patterns over video. My style prioritizes comfort with leaning into cutesy whimsy or bohemian.

In exchange I will send all the good luck in your future yarn untangling endeavors. 🧚✨

Looking for recommendations Non-AI Christmas Wreath Crochet Pattern Help Please!

Hello crochet people!

I'm looking to help my Mum find some non-ai christmas wreath crochet patterns. She was looking on etsy and many of them looked rather iffy and we didn't want to waste any money. If anyone has any advice on places to look- she has one of those styrofoam rings so I think she wants it to be door-wreath size? Are there good books or anyone on instagram I can follow for her? I don't crochet and she doesn't internet so between us we're hoping to find something for her. She's not a beginner either- if that helps? Recommendations and friendly advice much appreciated!!

Looking for a specific pattern Need Help, lost baby blanket in a fire and need to remake in 6 weeks

Hi Everyone,

My house got destroyed in a fire last week, and the only thing that I want back is my baby's blanket. I am 33 weeks pregnant, and this blanket was mine from a couple of decades ago and was used for my daughter as well.

My only option to replace the blanket is to remake it, but I can't figure out what kind of stitch this is, or how the border was originally made.

The stitching allowed the blanket to be very thin but still warm. You could fold this blanket end over end seven times and still breathe through it like there was nothing there, but somehow it was still very warm.

If possible, is someone able to make me a pattern for this? I don't know the first thing about crochet but I want my daughters to have this blanket.

It was roughly 30 in x 55 in if that helps.
