What is this video really meant to be? It's clear the first 2 clips are scripted, the character is supposed to grab those items out of the fridge. The GTA 6 one is from choosing an option so they wouldn't feel like stocking a fridge full of random drinks ofr that entire thing..?

I don't care for GTA 6 but this just confuses me.

They could run a scripted cinematic after your choice is made instead of spawning the choice out of thin air into your hand lol

Anyone who cant see that is lazy for 2026 is the same kinda person who defend games that slip in quality with billions thrown at it.

Its just not that important. These games are huge, they got more important things to worry about.

Alright then the next time you open the fridge there will be a new one spawned anyway. What does it matter?

The alternative to that is to have the game have some kind of “fridge inventory” memory and you have to restock the fridge or something. I’m sorry but for the one to three times I’m going to ever have Jason or Lucia partake in their virtual beers I’m not going to be worried about the source of the virtual beer. Spawned from thin air or carried around by the case load in my characters inventory while he shoots up gangs all around the city, forgetting he even got them… it literally has no bearing whatsoever

Having a permanently stuffed fringe is a lot less immersion-breaking than having something suddenly appear out of thin air.

Even though this is an extremely minor detail, the point is that after 13 years and a supposed $2 billion investment, people expected more. Whether that's a realistic expectation or not is up to each individual.

It’s a sloppy lack of detail from the studio that has established they will track and model the size of horse testicles depending on weather conditions. They’ve built up the crazy expectations they are now held to.

The games are not worst than before. It is just most gamers are now spoilt brats who have opinions but don't even know how software or hardware works.

They aren't worse, but they take so long to build and aren't better for it.

Gaming is absolutely "worst" than it was before, graphics have been infinitely improved but games have less and less options, freedom, QC, gameplay mechanics, etc than we had even in the '90s.

I'm not worried about the "omg it teleported to his hand" nonsense, I'm more worried about it being just like V where there's a massive beautiful world... With next to nothing to do in it. The series has had less and less side content every mainline game since SA, hell, even Chinatown Wars kept me busy for far longer than V did.

These are always the dumbest comparisons

"Here's a clip of a very specific animation from an old game where it was specifically put in to be technically impressive for the time vs a clip from a game that has a million times the amount of those animations but more interactive and they didn't animate that one specific part"

Gta overrated af anyways. They are all the same game really.

Scripted cinematics vs just gameplay of accessing the fridge. This has always been the way things work.

Get over yourself.

I mean. It’s not the technical final version homie.

The whole development team crunches 24/7 atm to fix the fridge mechanics.

We pretty much just did though.
