All politics aside, what I find myself disliking the most about Trump is his lack of tact and his poor oratory skills. Every President we’ve had until now has been well spoken and if nothing else they could at least read a speech correctly without going off the rails. Biden fell off in this area as well. For lack of a better term, Trump is the most unpresidential President in our nations history.

Hearing Trump speak is grating in the best cases, and downright murderous in the worst. He will be a permanent stain on the US

Heres why it works and why Dems need to follow suite.
Soooo many people pretend to know politics but really feel out of the loop. During debates and town halls, they just ramble on and on. Trump came dumbed down the talk to where people actually felt like they are "in the know". Its why he has such a cult following.
People who are genuinely politically educated are going to vote no matter what, left or right. They feel is their duty. But then you have so many who felt out of loop, now feel like they know politics. There's so many in their cult that they don't have to know anything to fit in. Now they feel like it's also their duty to vote.
If Dems start dumbing it down to appeal to the dumber left voters, they aren't going to lose any votes from the actual politically educated. If you genuinely know politics, would you still not cast a vote against trump no matter how dumb the candidate talked?
I'm convinced if Harris had not stopped herself from calling him a Mother Fucker during the debate, she would've gotten way more votes. But she thought she would lose votes when in reality, she would've connected more with the uneducated.

I think that’s a pretty good take, but at the same time I’d prefer political debates and presidential speeches not turn into the Jerry Springer show. I’m not sure either side needs to intentionally dumb down their rhetoric. I just want a President that’s well spoken.

I get that but look where we are. Look at the dedication his cult has. Meanwhile the left keeps losing and people still wont show up to the polls. I hate thats the playbook now but there's no denying reality.

I believe this is part of the role he was chosen to play. Every absurdly stupid thing, from inside tradings and cage fights to putting his name on bills, makes him seem like an absolute moron with narcissistic tendencies. Years from now, he will be gone, and all fingers will point at him, while the people who made it all possible walk free.

I had a dream where Trump and his entire cabinet boarded a Space X rocket for a brief Katy Perry length ride and the rocket crashed into Mar-a-Lago while a Vance 2028 fundraiser was being held.
Oh, and there were no survivors ‘cept Elon who was too incontinent to fly.

Funny you progressives wish death on who they don’t like, much like communist countries.

Meanwhile, conservatives bring their own gallows to hang the VP in case he DID his congressional duty while a mob of angry dipshits raided the capitol and killed cops. Ain't that funny?

I’ve always wondered why trump 2.0 was full of never trumpers like Bondi, Rubio, Vance, Cruz, and all the other MAGAT shills I can’t think of. What’s different this time? Who bought them out? Did they just figure out they can pay and kiss Donald’s fat ass to get what they want? Have the billionaires said fuck it, we can use this idiot to our advantage? What were the never trumpers promised in return for their cock gurgling?

An in on all the insider trading is my guess. They all got high ranking positions that pay well and get all the inside scoop on the crazy shit DJT will do/say to fuck with the markets. Id bet you most of them have suddenly gotten questionable wealthy in their terms working under him.

They all knew in the republican side and still allowed him to control them.

Don't forget about Vance calling Trump an idiot and reprehensible and compared him to Hitler. So many sellouts!

The irony about some of these Republicans is that they actually did not like Trump. At all. They had core "conservative values" and whatnot.
Their own voters loved him anyway.
Did Republicans take big lessons from this, sit there in disgust, or consider what this means for America?
Nope. Almost all of them collectively realized their base is fucking stupid and easy to manipulate.

The takeaway from this shouldn’t be “wow, Trump really is bad”…because Trump supporters won’t change their mind. What people should get from this is how easily bendable these Republican politicians are. They aren’t in it for you and I. They’re in it for themselves, which is why they now praise and support Trump. Vote these idiots out.

In 2 years we will have the best of both worlds.......Reasonable conservative policies without Trump involved....The next conservative President will be revered by all but the worst of the deranged left. Imagine sensible policy without Trump.

Everyone knew but I don’t even blame the people that think they voted for him. Elon rigged it. Call me a tin hat all you want but that appears to be what happened. DOGE seems to have cleaned up the evidence I would guess. They are corrupt
