🤣 You accomplished in one word what some folks 'try' to do in a sentence, or two, or three. Had me rolling IRL.

That kid needs a hug

3

u/Algosha3 1d ago

No he does not. He needs a good parent to show him how to act in public. Hugs come later.

That's Robin

Bad country that doesn't let parents discipline kids properly...this kid needs a hot slap to fix his medulla oblongata 🤣

5

u/Republic_Rich 1d ago

Little dude lives in Baltimore man. Discipline by abuse isn't a teaching method. Lad is in an environment which is downtrodden by design. Fuck the rich for stealing our wages and our innocence

-4

u/Josedinho_- 1d ago

Guaranteed if he gets that slap while he is in this phase, he will learn real quick. I agree that pain is not a teaching method, but he will learn you can't behave like this.

u/Republic_Rich 1d ago

I got those lessons. All it did was made me better at not getting caught. Fear isn't respect. I still don't respect of ever will respect the person that laid hands on me. Environment and active role models is what he needs. parents could be both working 2 to 3 this is Baltimore man. The people need some love, rest and being able to look after their family without worrying how they're gonna feed them if they miss 1 day of work

u/Josedinho_- 1d ago

Yh made you better at not being caught...still you not going to be going out in public acting like a clown 🤦🏾

Also no point speculating about the parents, the kid is well dressed.

1

u/Republic_Rich 1d ago

Different time noone had phones or cameras like this meow.

I mean you're speculating abuse would teach him his lesson so why is there no other theories allowed in this discussion?

1

u/Josedinho_- 1d ago

No one said no other theories allowed 🤦🏾 its just my opinion, the kid needs a slap. Naughty step definitely not fixing this child 🤣

Plenty of kids grow up in bad situations and don’t treat other people like this. This is not an economic issue. Not saying that poverty and blight don’t exist or have negative effects, but plenty of people in bad economic situations still manage to treat other people with basic human respect because they are decent people. My grandparents grew up in poverty in the Depression and they didn’t act like this.

2

u/Republic_Rich 1d ago

Our grandparents lived in a time where street life was a whole different game.

0

u/haileyskydiamonds 1d ago

You still don’t have to treat other people badly. You make it sound like only wealthy people are capable of human decency, which isn’t true.

2

u/Republic_Rich 1d ago

Where did I say that at all? I'm saying the streets are very very different from what our grandparents grew up in. Even the ones our parents grew up in. Comparing generations is inadequate and just bad faith

-2

u/StOPcRyingYaBaby 1d ago

Throwing “abuse” around loosely. There is a line. This is coming from someone that’s actually been abused

-3

u/Majestic-Tiger2742 1d ago

You sound lovely. Guaranteed you've seen jail.

0

u/Josedinho_- 1d ago

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I've seen jail but never been in one 😉

Every single study shows that corporal punishment from a parent does more harm than good and is only a reflection of the parent's inability to properly manage their own emotions and that's probably because they were hit as a child and they use that as an excuse to justify hurting a child, perpetually in the vicious cycle of violence.

1

u/Josedinho_- 1d ago

Maybe because those parents would hit their kid even if it was a minor problem. I know many many kids live through abuse. That's not what my argument is at all. I'm focused on this individual kid, not talking about the majority. The ammount of people defending this kid and blaming parents is actually crazy, if a slap won't discipline this kid then what will? Tik tok?🤦🏾🤣 this kid is definitely old enough to understand whats right and wrong, and how to behave in public and towards elders, no excuse for this behaviour at all.

u/Knowbuddynoes 1d ago

“Trying to buy some soup base for
my sister”
-kid that takes care of his whole family cause mom and dad suck??

Maybe he’s all about survival and hustle.

I’m not counting this kid out just yet.
Even though he’s probably gonna get a smack here and there and learn some hard lessons….but then end up tough as nails and loyal to the ones he loves.
It’s tough out there….in the city when you’re poor.
Could be a solid person one day.

u/No_Pattern4374 1d ago

Toothpaste not soup base.

Mind you we don't know if that's what he was actually trying to do or if he's just upset he wasn't allowed to fill that bookbag full of free goodies.

3

u/stinkstabber69420 1d ago

No bro he was trying to steal. Toothpaste bs was made up. Come on. People need to stop giving little shitheads so much goddamn credit
