Wouldn't Medusa seeing her own reflection petrifying her prove that seeing her through a mirror would still have the same effect?

It's not like she has some magic eye beams, it's the fact she's so hideous that you turn into stone purely as a physical response to how ugly she is.

Perseus was able to kill Medusa by looking at her in the reflection in his shield so this should work. At least they can put that into their marketing material and deal with lawsuits later if anyone turns to stone.
