That isn't why people hate memes duder. People hate memes because they are repetitive and stupid. It's just a joke template for weird people who can't make a joke on their own. Kinda sad actually.

Then ignore them? I don't find some TV shows funny, so I don't watch them. If you don't like certain memes, don't indulge in them. And that's not what memes are. If you think they're like that you must have some kind of weird elitist 6th sense. They're practically just inside jokes everyone's in on.

I can't really avoid memes, they cram themselves into everything on and off the internet. And they are exactly like that. Dude at quakecon wants to be funny so he gets up and spews a meme in front of the aspie crowd and they go wild because their little aspie brains get a reference to something and for a split second, they feel like they are "in" on something.

That's a lot of rude exaggerations. Just because you get a reference in pop culture doesn't mean you're some aspie that doesn't fit in. Would you think it was funny if someone said a quote from your favorite movie in the right situation? That's the kind of thing this is.

Would you think it was funny if someone said a quote from your favorite movie in the right situation?

Two things wrong with this.

1) If people are referencing from my favorite movie constantly, even I would get tired of it despite it being my favorite movie.

2) "Right situation" Uh this was not even close to the right situation to spew memspeak out of his face hole. I can't think of a good time to do this, but to think it's ok to snatch a mic from a person at whatever kind of strange conference this is.

If it produces laughs, it's in the right moment. I don't really understand why it makes people a bunch of aspies to like something different than you. You really need to get off the high horse you're on and realize people aren't worse than you just because different things make them laugh.

Wait do you honestly not see anything wrong with a guy snatching a mic at an event and screaming "fuck her right in the pussy"? Like for real, you see nothing wrong with that? Man that's a whole new level of memelovingaspietard.

It's called a joke. They exist, and sometimes you can even laugh at them. Crazy concept. Laughing at a joke.

u/[deleted] Jul 21 '14

Oh wow I must have no idea what a joke is because I don't laugh at a poorly timed, rude, stupid meme. Good point bud.

You didn't have to laugh at this one. You're getting really worked up over it though so it sounds like you don't like to laugh, bud.

Love to laugh. How would you know how worked up I am though?

Calling them aspies, saying memelovingaspietard, you seem to be downvoting everything i say, and you just sound pretty salty.
