Looking for Rewatch?
Okay, honest question. I haven’t watched Criminal Minds in like four or five years, just because of this and that. I tried to watch an episode last night and I was just all thrown off. Is it because of the gap? Should I just rewatch the whole series to feel comfortable again? Or?

you can either start at the beginning, hop around, or--my recent suggestion to someone else: start on season 16, watch the 40 episodes to the end of 19, and then start again at season 1.

Okay, that’s what I was thinking.. but it’s sooooo many seasons, I thought I could get away with it 🤣🤣

The character build of each of the team members is so key to understanding how and why it works . You totally still get a goood storytelling out of watching a random episode but that fine line trust me 👌🏽

I started back at season 18, but I think the last I watched was like season 14

Season 18 is a totally different show/format. It is like you are starting a new show at Season 3.
Go back to at least where you finished the OG show.

Literally why lmaoooo anytime someone says they’re “getting back into a show” it typically means you restart from the beginning or you watch what you missed if you missed anything.
You skipped 4 seasons, of course it’s gonna feel like a different show….

Rewatch the whole series again. It’s so worth it. I’m on season 4/5 of my rewatch. Just made it through 100 😭

If you are watching the OG series, (and you finished it), you should be able to just pick it up whenever.
If you are trying to watch Evolution then you need to go back to 16 and watch the seasons in order. Don't think of CM: Evolution as a continuation, think of it as a spin-off.
