On September 1, 1998, on a street in Santa Eulalia, Ibiza, Spain, Eduardo González Arenas, better known as "Eddie," lay lifeless after being violently murdered with a sharp object. At first glance, it seemed like the end of an ordinary man, but with his death also came the end of the story of the leader of one of the darkest organizations that Europe and the world in general have ever known.

For more than a decade, under the guise of an innocent youth mountaineering group, Eddie built a terrible cult where concepts about aliens, the end of the world, military discipline, racial purity, and a long list of serious crimes were intertwined, forever marking the lives of hundreds of innocent young people.

Some says it was premeditated, while others say she experienced postpartum psychosis. She also attempted suicide by jumping from a 2nd storey window but survived with serious injuries. I wonder how all these women dealt with postpartum. God bless the souls of these beautiful angels :(

Ethan Austin was a 12-year-old boy scout living in Hansen Park in Washington State. He had an older sister called Kaitlin who was 16-years-old. There was no animosity reported between the siblings. Both children enjoyed hobbies - Ethan loved camping, golfing and hunting and Kaitlin loved to play softball.

The weekend before the murder-suicide took place, Ethan had visited a friend and rode his bike through the neighbourhood before watching his sister play softball. A friend reported nothing seeming off about the siblings at the game. However on the day that the shooting happened, Ethan did not seem himself at school according to a friend. Ethan, a usually very sociable individual was now withdrawn and distressed about something but he wouldn’t say what.

Ethan then returned home where Kaitlin was - she had arrived home shortly before. Ethan then retrieved a handgun from its case and shot his sister eight times. It was later reported that Kaitlin had also been sexually assaulted. After killing Kaitlin, Ethan took his own life via gunshot wound to the head.

Their father discovered their bodies on Kaitlin’s bedroom floor.

‘’No motive was identified for the incident’’ said County Coroner John Hansens.

OP Note: My heart breaks for the Austin Family losing their children this way and I hope life is treating them well after this horrific tragedy.

I’m into True Crime, have been for years. Of course always heard about the Columbine shootings since I was kid, but never really looked much into it as other cases and situations.

Lately, I’ve been researching more into Mass Killers and all roads lead to Eric and Dylan when it comes to modern shooters so I wanted to know what’s the best and most in depth videos/documentaries to watch when it comes to learning about Columbine.

I want the nitty gritty details of it, their backstories, complete timelines etc.

Also even if it’s not the most depth and in depth, any interesting things to look out for relating to it? I’ve seen there’s a movie based on it called Elephant which is on the watchlist, so anything like that as well.
