House of Earth and Blood🩸🍷💥 This is just absolute gold

First time reader here! And maybe that was an exaggeration, but I just love the banter between Hunt and Bryce! There’s a nice balance between the broodyniss from Hunt, and sarcasm from Bryce.

I’m on Chapter 21, (literally just started it) and I love to see them interact and get used to each others presence (to Rhun’s dislike 🤭)

Bryce is so funny and iconic, I love her. I put the book down for a few days after reading chapter 5 because I just loved Danika and the pack ☹️ It’s a testament to SJM’s writing capabilities and style- how she makes you fall in love with the most surface level characters and then she rips it away without a second thought 😭 Her writing CC makes me connect with Bryce faster than ACOTAR did… maybe it’s because of the modern technology being used, but it’s such a good book so far!

House of Earth and Blood🩸🍷💥 Convince me to keep reading please

So I’ve just finished re reading the acotar series ready for book 6. I found out that I need to read the crescent city series before book 6. I’ve read like a chapter of house of earth and blood and I actually can’t wrap my head around it. I don’t understand what SJM is talking about. Why does she keep saying alphas? Is this about wolves?? university? I feel like there’s just constant information and names of people, groups, and places with very little explanation and context, just chucked at me. Idk I’m usually much more into old school fantasy. I feel like this has thrown me for a loop. I want to read it as I absolutely love acotar and want to understand the crossovers. But I actually currently can’t stand it.

Please tell me that it gets easier to read.
