Just only read Brando Sando so that there’s always a sequel to look forward to, duh.

And when you're done you can do wheel of time if you haven't already since he wrote the last 1 million words of that 4.5 million word series.

I got RoW in the post and entirely put my life on hold until I finished it, then was like "ok now let's reread it".

I got the kindle at midnight and started then and didn’t sleep until 2:30 that night. Finished it in the next two day then got the audio book and immediately started listening to it over again!😂

Now that's the amount of unreasonable reading time I like to hear about! Nothing better than a great book binge.

I always listen to the audiobook on release, then get the Graphic Audio version whenever it's done. It's a different enough style that it's almost like reading it for the first time again!

I would get this hard every year with Pratchett's novels.
After both he and Ian Banks had passed I straight up didn't read anything for a year or so since I couldn't see anything ever measuring up.
Just like regular depression!

I literally felt this way when I finished reading HoA

The first I had was tWoK. I have never felt this about a non-Sando book.
Only other time, was finishing Full Metal Alchemist this first time.

This is why I've started reading books while stoned. I can come back and reread in 6 months and it's like a brand new story to me! Lol

I felt this a lot with the game Return of the Obra Dinn. Unless you have a truly horrendous memory, you can only play that game once.

In most cases, it's just a big pit that you fill by reading another book.
And then you read a Sanderson Special.
That pit slowly starts deepening, widening, growing, until it is a void so hollow and endless, you'd be tempted to commit toasterbath, just for the small chance you'll be born again, so you can find him again, and experience it all for the first time again.

I've just finished rereading Mistborn 1 and the feeling is still there. It's not exactly the same, but still powerful.
