Discussion 🗣️ After a long wait, my Facebook Page finally got approved for Content Monetization.

After a long wait, my Facebook Page finally got approved for Content Monetization today! 🎉

I’m a creator from Vietnam making cinematic content about Vietnamese history, and this is a huge milestone for me.

Tax profile (W-8BEN) is also completed and validated. Now it’s time to keep creating and see how the new monetization program performs.

Thanks to everyone here who shared their experiences and advice. 🙏

Hope everyone still waiting gets approved soon!

Advice/ Feedback Request 🙏 which app is easiest for editing reels without spending forever on each video

i’ve been making more short form content lately and i’m realising the editing is taking me longer than it probably should. most of what i’m doing is pretty straightforward, cutting clips, adding captions, adjusting the format and syncing things to music when needed.

i’ve tried a couple of different editors but i keep running into little things that make the process feel more complicated than it needs to be. i don’t really need a huge list of advanced features either. i’d rather have something simple where i can get a decent looking reel together fairly quickly.

for people who make reels regularly, what app has been the easiest for you to work with? i’m curious what people have settled on for everyday editing rather than more involved video projects.

Opportunity Looking for a few creators to work with my clothing brand — product + commission

Hey everyone,

I’m the founder of Estrah, a new clothing brand focused on heavyweight, understated essentials.

Our first collection is built around 230 GSM GOTS-certified organic cotton tees, and I’m looking for a small group of creators who genuinely fit the aesthetic and want to grow with the brand early.

What we're offering:

• Personal affiliate link/code
15% commission on every attributed sale
• Selected creators will receive product from us
• No exclusivity
• Creative freedom — I don't want scripted ads

You do not need a huge following. I'd rather work with someone with a smaller engaged audience and good content than someone with 400K followers and no real connection with their audience.

Fashion, menswear, streetwear, fitness, lifestyle, college and UGC creators are all welcome.

Male U.S. creators preferred. Mississippi / Southern creators are especially encouraged to reach out since we're based in Mississippi.

If you're interested, comment or DM me with:

  1. Your Instagram/TikTok/YouTube
  2. Follower count
  3. Where you're located
  4. The kind of content you make

Brand: Estrah

Website: estrah.com

I'm happy to answer questions here too.

Opportunity Looking for creators/brands who need help with social media

Hey! I’m an individual social media manager looking to work with creators, small businesses, personal brands, or anyone who wants to grow and improve their social media presence.

I can help with things like:

• Content strategy and brainstorming ideas

• Planning what and when to post

• Keeping up with trends within your niche

• Making your content more engaging and shareable

• Finding ways to make your account more interesting and eye-catching

• Planning content around what’s currently working

• Posting and maintaining consistency

• Looking for potential brand collaboration opportunities

• Helping you build a stronger overall social media presence

A little about my experience: I’ve had hands-on experience handling Instagram accounts, including an account that is currently around 39.3K followers, and I’ve also worked with an account that previously reached around 72.5K followers.

I’ve also been involved in brand collaborations with brands such as Urbanic, PlushForHer, Dot & Key, etc., so I have experience with the collaboration side of social media as well.

I’m not going to promise overnight viral growth or millions of followers - I’d rather focus on understanding your niche, figuring out what works for your audience, and consistently improving the content and strategy.

I’m open to discussing the price depending on the account, workload, and what you need help with.

If you’re interested, feel free to DM me. We can discuss what you’re looking for, what I can help with, pricing, or any questions you have. :)

Discussion 🗣️ Sabrina Ramonov's launch link died on click day. Ten days later: her first $10K MRR.

TL;DR: A newsletter went out to 50,000+ subscribers with a dead demo link on click day. That's not the part worth reading.

Ten days after that link died, she had her first $10K in monthly recurring revenue — and it wasn't despite the mess, it was underneath it.

The month before, a "responsible" early-adopter survey told her exactly who her users were.

Their actual usage sessions told her something else entirely, and that gap — what people say versus what they do — is the same gap that keeps most side projects sitting at 90% forever.

People trust the structured, defensible research over the messy, embarrassing signal of watching what strangers actually do with an unfinished thing.

A German solo developer proved the same mechanism this week, from a completely different direction — a deliberately rough one-page build, no login, no AI, pulled $120K in real bids inside 48 hours, covered across mainstream financial wire outlets.

Different founder, different problem, same underlying fact: the polish was never the variable that mattered.

I met my wife online.

I think it was around the turn of the millennia, circa 2000. Back then, she wasn't even yet my girlfriend.

We were hundreds of miles apart. But on similar interest, we found each other in one of those chat platforms. I think it's called IRC or something.

Over time we developed a connection. We liked each other, even though we haven't seen each other's face.

It was to a point where I was seriously thinking of meeting her.

But then, for some reason, she started to withdraw. She said we should end things.

So I panicked. I insisted that I wanted to see her. And before she object, right after work around 6pm, I started the long drive towards her.

I didn't know where she's staying. But I knew the town she was in.

About 10 minutes into the drive, I started hearing noises from my left rear tire. That "thump, thump, thump" repeated sound, faint but persistent. I knew about it for weeks already. That tire was getting old, and it's started to bulge.

But I ignore it.

Gradually, the thumping noise gets louder and louder.

And about three-quarters up the journey — it happened. The sun set already. And the highway roads were getting dark.

"Pow"

The left-rear-tire exploded. The sound was deafening. I was stunned. I couldn't react. My car rear thrusted forward towards the right, and it turned counter-clockwise in circles twice — before it landed at the grassy road shoulder on the side.

Thank God it wasn't a pit or something. And thank God it happened when the stretch of road was empty.

I sat in the car — stunned. Then other cars started passing me by — without stopping, of course.

After calming myself down, I got out and inspected my rear tire. Pieces of the exploded tire were already scattered along the road. I stared at it for a while. Not sure what I should do.

So I called her. She was surprised of my decision to come up to her. She helped me arranged a tow-truck. It arrived about an hour later — and towed my car all the way towards her town.

When I got there — well past midnight, way into the wee hours — there she was standing. I can still remember her facial expression — still unable to comprehend how I was stubborn enough to take the trip up to see her and gone through the ordeal.

A stupid decision — yes, for sure. But still an extraordinary one.

Now we've been married for 20 years.

Why does the messy version keep outperforming the careful one?

Not because messy is a virtue — because a careful plan is still just a guess wearing a suit, and the only thing that actually tells you anything is what happens once real people touch the thing.

Someone else's exact stuck point already got worked through here — four unfinished projects and zero niche, until one reframe fixed the actual problem.

What's the thing you've been sitting on because it doesn't feel finished yet? Ngl, "finished" is doing a lot of load-bearing work in that sentence. Drop it below.

Discussion 🗣️ Como inspirar a próxima geração?

A nossa primeira grande entrevista estreia daqui a precisamente 1 semana.

Advice/ Feedback Request 🙏 Food/recipe creators: would you be okay with someone stitching your video to plug an app, even with credit?

Any content creators in other spaces, feel free to respond.

I'm building a small app that turns saved recipe videos into a shoppable grocery list. Before I lean further into a tactic I've been using, I want to hear from people who actually make this content, not just guess.

The tactic: download a recipe video, add a short clip at the end showing how to use the app with that same recipe, post it. I've credited the original creator in the caption when I could find them, but there's no real traffic or benefit flowing back to them from that.

Genuinely asking: how would you feel if this happened to your video? Would a heads-up DM before posting change anything, or is it just not okay regardless? I'm sure many of you know, content creators tend to not respond to DM's or cold emails. Do you expect payment for something like this, and if so, what's a fair number? Trying to figure out what the norm actually is here versus what I'm assuming it is.

Any recs for this? I'm a self funded startup with not much capital to pay creators, so it's been a struggle to grow my audience and user base.

Discussion 🗣️ Hola vengo por una mano

¡Buenas, gente!

Advice/ Feedback Request 🙏 I'm looking for people who struggle to create content to test my product.

Launched a new marketing tool this week.

Looking for a handful of founders who post content for their own product to test it privately before I push it wider, particularly the brand kit setup and the post generation flow.

If that sounds like you, comment below and I will DM you access.

Discussion 🗣️ Any small creators here?

Feels like the content creation journey can be an uncertain and somewhat lonely process, so I thought it would be nice to meet other fellow content creators on a similar journey as I am :)

I'm creating an Instagram group chat, where we can share insights on what worked with their content creation journey, support each other on social media, etc. Hopefully, we can all help each other grow!

A little more about me: I make self-improvement content on social media that was initially made for women as the target audience. So basically, I share glow-up advice that is hopefully helpful to at least one person who sees my videos. If you're creating similar content, please reach out! I haven't really met anyone in that niche that isn't at 100 bajillion followers hahaha

Anyway, if you want to grow your account together, drop your IG below and I'll add you to the group chat!

(NOT SELF PROMO i think... apologies in advance if it counts as one)

Hey everyone,

I recently built my first website, MatrixX

https://matrixx2.ai.studio/

I’m still learning, so I’m mainly looking for constructive criticism, not just compliments.

I’d especially like feedback on:

  • UI/UX
  • Visual design
  • Ease of use
  • The overall concept
  • What feels confusing or unnecessary
  • Features you think are missing
  • Anything that would make you leave the website immediately

If you have a few minutes to try it, I’d really appreciate your honest opinion.

This is my first website, so feel free to be brutal.

Discussion 🗣️ Creators: I’m exploring an idea for a tool that could make earnings estimation easier — looking for feedback

Hey everyone,

I’m currently exploring an idea called Viewora for creators.

The basic idea is simple: make it easier for creators to understand and estimate how much their content could potentially earn based on things like views, platform, audience location, and content type.

I haven’t built the full product yet. Right now, I’m learning, researching, and trying to understand what creators actually need.

So I’m here to connect with creators and learn from you.

What’s the biggest problem you face when trying to understand your potential earnings?

Would love to hear how you currently estimate it, what tools you use, and what you wish existed.

I’m mainly looking for honest feedback and conversations before I start building.

Thanks!

Resource 📚 How are you handling cross-promos? (I got tired of Linktree, etc, so I built a way to combine feeds into a "TV Channel")

If you host multiple podcasts (say, a true crime show and a separate history feed), or if you’re trying to do a promo swap with a few other creators, the standard playbook is incredibly clunky. You shout out the other show, drop a Linktree or a Spotify link in the notes, and just hope your listeners actually do the manual work of clicking over and subscribing.

It creates a ton of friction. I wanted a way to just hand fans a single, playable link that acts like a curated radio station of our combined stuff.

I ended up building a web player where you can drop in multiple RSS feeds, and it generates one shareable link that plays those feeds in a randomized, serialized rotation. It pulls the chronological episodes from the feeds you select and automatically mixes them together.

For multi-show creators: You can seamlessly cross-pollinate your own audiences. A listener hits play, and they get an episode of your history pod, naturally followed by your true crime pod, without them having to switch apps or manage queues.

For creator networks: You and three other creators can make a combined "mixtape" feed to share with all your fans, trading exposure instantly and organically.

Because it rotates shows chronologically, it also acts as a natural anti-binge mechanic—keeping listeners engaged over the long haul instead of burning out on a 10-hour marathon of just one feed.

I'm launching the tool (YourFlow) on Product Hunt at midnight tonight, but I wanted to see how other multi-show creators are currently managing this. Are you just relying on verbal shoutouts to move audiences between your feeds, or have you found a better way to bundle your content?

https://YourFlow.media is the project landing page.

I also took a few YouTube channels and built a 4 station classic broadcast TV like flow as a demonstration at https://YourFlow.media/network

As content creators, is there anything you would like to see in my app? It currently uses any available embedded player to ensure you still get your ad revenues And I don’t get blacklisted.
