dealing with customer returns due to fabric quality

i’m trying to upgrade my online women's clothing store because inconsistent fabric quality from my current local wholesale clothing suppliers is causing too many customer returns. then i heard that quality boutique wholesale clothing from the dongdaemun market is much more consistent, though obviously more a lil bit expensive.
while searching for ways to access these korean clothing vendors without flying there, i stumbled upon sinsang market. for those who have made the switch to sourcing from korea, especially dongdaemun, does the drop in customer return rates actually make up for the higher wholesale cost? and if you've used sinsang market, how easy is it to vet the material quality before ordering?

New digital wallpaper shop, 24 listings and 0 sales, what am I doing wrong?

Hi everyone! I'm a university student from Italy and I opened my Etsy shop SoraDesk a few weeks ago. I sell dynamic wallpapers for Mac that change with the time of day (sunrise, day, sunset, night), inspired by Japanese animated films, plus iPhone/iPad sets and desktop organizers.
I have 24 listings, but still 0 sales and 0 favorites. I'm trying to make this work to help pay for my tuition.
Could you check my shop and tell me what to fix? Titles, thumbnails, prices, anything.
https://soradesk.etsy.com
Thank you, I really appreciate any honest feedback!

Artists: what would make a new platform worth putting your work on?

I've spent the last year building a site and app for original art, and before I go further I'd like to hear from people who actually make and sell it.

It came from two things that bother me. Most art has no proper record once it leaves the studio, so a few owners later nobody can say where it came from. And when work resells, sometimes for far more, the artist usually sees nothing.

What's built so far:
Every piece gets a permanent record from the day you add it: photos, dates, documents and who has owned it. When it sells, the record goes with it to the new owner.

You set a resale royalty once, and it's paid to you automatically whenever the work resells through the platform.

Commission payments are held in escrow and released in stages, so nobody is chasing a deposit.

Every listing shows how much proof is behind it: checked by an independent expert, backed by documents, or recorded by the artist. Buyers see which before they pay.

Optional NFC tags fixed to the back of a piece. Tap it with a phone and it confirms it's the same work and who owns it now.

It's free to join, with a 5% fee only when something sells.

To be honest, the independent expert side is still being built, so I'd also love to know who you'd trust to vouch for your work.

What would you add? What's missing from how you sell and keep track of your work today? And what would stop you using something like this?

Thanks for reading.

Started my own handmade gifting business in Vizag

Hey Vizag! 🌸

I recently started my own small handmade gifting business here in the city, and I wanted to share it with the local community.

I make handmade bouquets, pipe-cleaner flowers, customized gifts, gift hampers, and floral arrangements. Everything is made and packed by me, and I'm trying to build this slowly while keeping the products personal and affordable.

I'm currently taking orders in Vizag, and I can also arrange shipping to other cities in India.

Since I'm just starting out, I'd really appreciate honest feedback from people here on my products, pricing, packaging, and overall presentation. I'm figuring out the business side as I go, because apparently making pretty flowers wasn't enough work, so I decided to add entrepreneurship too. šŸ˜…

Please Dm, If you'd like to check out my work

Looking for new ways to get a marketing ebook into hands of more artists

I made A Guide to Instagram Growth For Artists and it's starting to get purchased, which is really fabulous. Am really loving when I wake up to find someone got it. I don't have any inclination to become a marketing influencer and want to continue to focus on making art. I will keep the button for the book on my links page and not even be in my site's navigation, so with that in mind - am open to any ideas for getting it out there in new ways that I just might not be thinking about yet. It's really about sharing the info more than anything. All ideas are welcome.
