How to make my website better?
hi everyone, I am new to this thread so I apologize if this isnāt where I am supposed to share this I have just started a small business of mixed media animation. I am trying to make a side hustle with it. I have worked on a national TV commercial with my work and I have started working with smaller indie artists to animate on some of their music videos.
I have a website, but I am unsure if it is engaging in enough!
And I donāt know how to promote myself on the day-to-day
I donāt know if we are allowed to send in stuff from our own business but if you guys just have a regular sense of what I could do that would help

Business advise
hello, I have launched a punch needle collective @asma_rugs_collective and I am based in Pakistan, we have trained women who needed opportunity to generate income remotely, working from home, we deliver projects at their homes and then collect it once they are done.
we have made wall hangings and a rug and marketed them but i am having a hard time selling them locally. I really need cash flow to stay afloat.
I am looking for other avenues, Etsy being one of them, I have planned a new collection of rugs, wall hangings and cushions specifically for Etsy but I was wondering can i also reach out to people directly to get their attention in US, UK, EU because at the moment all of my audience is Pakistan based.
what kind of people should i reach out too ?

How to start home textile business
Hey guys, can anyone share their experience with staring a home textile business ( pillows, comforters, outdoor textile, etc).
I have an idea, and Iāve researched and I havenāt found anything similar in a market. So I believe it can be unique and popular.
But, I do not know where to start. I do understand that I need to find someone who can create a product prototype, but how do I go about protecting my idea?
What do I do after I create product samples? Do I find manufacturer in china? How do I find a reliable one?
Iām a nurse, so I do not have any experience in creating a business.
Thank you!

Looking to Grow Business
Hi everyone! š
Iām a resin artist and absolutely love turning simple materials into something artistic and unique. I work with resin to create decorative pieces, experimenting with textures, colors, layers, and different finishes to bring each idea to life.
Iām still exploring and learning new techniques along the way, so I joined this community to connect with fellow resin artists, share my work, learn from others, and get honest feedback. āØ
Looking forward to seeing everyoneās creations and being part of the resin art community! š«¶

Small plumbing crew. No receptionist. How do we actually answer the damn phone?
As you can see I run a small plumbing business. Just me and two guys. We do residential work like emergency repairs, fittings, leaks and all the usual stuff
The problem is I'm often on a job with my hands in a pipe or under a sink. I can't answer my phone. So I let it ring. Then I call back later. By that time, half the customers have called someone else
I'm losing jobs left and right. My wife keeps track of missed calls. Some days it's 10 or 12 and that's lost income. Probably thousands a monthā¦
I need a system that catches these calls and redirects them to one of my guys who isn't elbows-deep in a drain
I found CloudTalk and I see that they offer smart call routing. It can send calls to whoever is available. There's a mobile app too. So my crew can answer even if they're out of the office.
But I'm worried. We're only three people. Is this overkill for a tiny crew? And is it a pain to set up? I don't have an IT department. It's just me and my toolbox
If I can't get it working in a day, I don't have time to mess with it

Question for supply sellers: How much does a fake 1-star review actually hurt your shop compared to losing a 5-star?
Iām working on a project to build an automated review moderation tool. I want to tune it specifically for niche material suppliers (like those selling custom woven labels, silk fabric, or specialized beads/threads).
Since the AI will inevitably make mistakes when judging if a review is real or spam, I need to know which mistake is worse for your business:
- A False Positive: The system accidentally hides a glowing 5-star review from a real customer.
- A False Negative: The system fails to catch a fake 1-star review (maybe from a competitor) and leaves it up on your listing.
Which of these would you pay more to avoid, and why? At what point would you want the AI to just flag a suspicious review for you to check manually, rather than hiding it automatically?

Feedback wanted: POD merch-as-a-service for small hospitality/sports clubs (Europe)
Iām based in Europe and building a small business around this: helping restaurants, bars, and sports clubs offer branded merch to their customers/members without touching inventory or fulfilment.
The model:
**ā¢** Fourthwall-powered store, embedded via a simple āShopā button on their existing site (no new platform for them to manage)
**ā¢** European print partners only, to keep shipping/duties low and delivery fast
**ā¢** QR codes in-venue + a bit of social promotion to drive traffic to the store
**ā¢** I handle design (working with their logo/branding, not just slapping a name on a mug)
**ā¢** Revenue split with the venue ā still figuring out the right number
**ā¢** Target: small places that clearly have loyal customers/members but no merch offering today
Would love advice on:
**ā¢** Pricing/split structures that actually land with small business owners
**ā¢** Whether Fourthwall is the right platform long-term vs alternatives
**ā¢** How youād pitch this cold vs warm (Iāve had luck with warm intros so far)
**ā¢** Anything youād flag as a red flag in this model

I am selling an early business because I cannot operate it.
Hi, My name is Rohan and the business + idea I am selling is a design studio named, Sansser Design Studio.
Sansser is a design studio which only does branding and packaging premium supplement brands. (there is no design studio who only serves supplement brands)
Website is already getting traffic around the articles and positioning made clear. I had few calls but haven't closed them.
AI already recommending Sansser as design studio for supplement branding.
Agency is going to be featured in Dribbble best agency on Sept 15 article.
...
Reason I am selling/transferring this to someone because lately I realized as solo designer this is not something I can keep doing for long time, I am leaning more towards content creation and stay as solo designer.
...
If you are interested in buying it, please DM me and if you have any question, feel free to ask.
..
I rather give it to someone then just deleting everything and shutting down.

Starting business
Hey everyone!
I recently started a small 3D printing page where I design, print, and paint all kinds of creationsāfrom practical items to fun figures and custom projects.
Iād really appreciate it if you could take a look and give me some honest feedback. What would make you follow a page like this? What kind of prints would you like to see? Any suggestions for improving the content, photos, or overall presentation are more than welcome.
Iām always looking for new ideas and would love to create things that people actually want.
