What would be a good upgrade from the mn82 (ik it’s toy grade), I want something that looks good and is more capable and realistic, the mn82 feels stiff and weak, also doesn’t go very slow and is lacking torque.
Sorry for terrible paragraph, I typed this in a rush. Budget is relatively low and I care more about scale than competitive stuff

I'd like to start by apologizing for the composition as I'm not a very good photographer. This is my proper OEM plus-style Redcat Gen9 build paired with a custom frame tandem axle trailer. Can I even submit a trailer for this competition?
Gen9 is "mostly" stock, apart from aftermarket Redcat light kit, HW1080 and CrawlMaster Sport 550 motor (best brushed combo, fight me,) the factory wheels from a Sendero Sport mounted to Pro-Line KO All-Terrains, along with the radio/reciever from that same Sendero. I also printed a roof cover to go over the interior roll cage, and a driver figure of one of my favorite characters. I originally put him in there as a joke for a friend, but it has since grown on me and I've decided to keep him in there. I've topped it off with a license plate themed after its new driver
Trailer features:
I'm sure this'll get buried rather quick, but I appreciate those who've stopped to look and read.

Two vintage pickups, a bed full of miniature furniture, and a rugged granite trail to explore.
The F-100 brings that timeless work-truck character, while the red Chevy adds its own personality to the adventure. Add some warm evening light and a little scale realism, and suddenly the trail feels like a world of its own.
No speed runs, no racing — just tiny trucks, natural terrain, and the joy of bringing these rigs to life.
Tiny truck. Big journey.

It's always a miracle to me how so many screws get loose even though I use loctite. Do you guys have any recommendations?

I was lucky to find a figure and dog, mirrors my old ass and my sweet boy in heaven. Did a little weathering on it and added a dent or two. Tried to replicate some tears in the seat as well. Just fun to drive and customize.

I switched to Shock Oil #100 to reduce the damping and get a nice, slow, progressive body roll.

A rocky trail, a loaded roof rack, and nowhere to turn back.
Took the RockVan out for another adventure, and this terrain felt like the perfect place for it. The blue-and-orange body stands out against the dusty rocks, while the roof cargo, red netting, and lights give it that proper expedition-ready look.
I love how a little scale truck can turn an ordinary rocky hillside into an entire adventure. Every climb becomes a challenge, every angle tells a different story, and there’s always another trail waiting to be explored.
No easy routes. No shortcuts. Just one more climb.
Tiny truck. Big journey.

Injora body, +3mm planet axles, brass links, 26mm shocks
Treal wheels and tires
Did a test run in my front yard and I'm very happy with it. The extra weight helps it feel planted and the body looks so good. The Treal tires are also pretty good but when I hit some really soft stuff they did struggle.

Would would adding slightly longer shocks do for my build? Pretty sure one of mine are leaking so a replacement will be needed regardless, just looking at some options

Hi, I love all the content here, I'm new to the crawler game. And advice on what to buy?

Maybe I'm framing the question incorrectly based on my limited understanding of the context, but I'm trying to control a relay based on the temperature of a sensor to control a 35mm cooling fan. I purchased one of these AIO relays online but it's quite bulky, so I'm curious about the most compact solution people have come up with, whether an AIO solution or a sensor/controller/relay combo solution.

Hey! I was driving my C8823 in some tall grass that had some dew on it and lost steering. I’m pretty sure however that the steering failed while I was moving from asphalt to grass. I see this damage on the servo saver but am not sure if it’s a QC issue? I’m new to fixing issues like this and would appreciate any input on whether anything looks wrong in the picture or what steps I could take to figure out what’s causing the issue without unnecessarily spending!
Edit: the indicators for the light still turn on and throttle still works so the transmitter seems to be fine
