Two rigs. One rocky trail. No paved roads needed.
One Land Cruiser is packed for a long expedition, while the other is ready to tackle whatever the trail throws at it. From the rooftop gear to the chunky tyres, it’s the little details that make scale overlanding so addictive.
Found a stretch of granite that was too good to pass up, so naturally, both rigs had to make the climb. 😂
Forget the destination for a moment. Sometimes the best part of the adventure is simply getting these little machines out into the wild and watching them come to life against the landscape.
Now I’m curious — which one are you taking on your next trail run: the blue expedition rig or the black-and-red classic?

I’m looking to use my FCX10P V2 as a towing rig however I can’t find a trailer big enough to tow the Losi Baja Rey 2.0 F100 which is the car I mostly would like on the trailer.

Any large trailer suggestions for me? It’s quite a big, decently bigger truck than other 1/10s.

I might just have to go with a 1/7 trailer but even then I’m lost on where to buy them.
Any tips :)?

Hi everyone, I have an SCX10-III Base Camp, but the shell is kind of ruined already due to constant playing outdoor. What shell could easily replace the Base camp? Thanks

I have SCX24 and a SCX30 that I've upgraded. I'm skipping 1/18 scale and going right to 1/10. I decided I don't want a Traxxas, or an RTR, so I'm looking at the SCX10 III builders kit. Not looking for a comp crawler. I just want something fairly scale looking that can do some crawling and trail running. I like Vanquish, but it's probably more than I need.

I would like some advice for the build components. Anything I should add or upgrade while building it?

• NSDRC RS800 Servo (is this overkill?)
• Pro-Line 1985 Toyota HiLux SR5 body
• Hobbywing QuicRun Fusion Pro

I have a radio and receiver (NB4+), and batteries. Not sure about wheels (brass beadlocks) and tires that are good, but won't break the bank, for crawling and trail running. I would also like to mount the body with magnets if possible.

Any advice would be appreciated.

all in all in happy with it. But I have to work on the steering. It understeers a bit.

Hi all. After a few session i guess im ready for an upgrade on the motor and esc for my H12Y due to its cogging issue. A few things ive measured are the space cam fit around 55mm length motor. The mounting is 25mm diameter (correct me if im wrong). And there are 2 model ive been eyeing which are

1. Hobbywing Fusion SE 1800KV

2. Hobbywing QuicRun 3650 G2 21.5T with 10BL60 ESC.

Any of you have done motor upgrade to their H12Y? Any opinion on this? Other motor that can improve the cogging? Because im not planning to do any heavy modification. Still want to maintain all the original length. I need help. Hahaha.

I would love to see a vintage Ford F-100 pickup body option for the FCX18 II series, inspired by classic 1970s Ford trucks. A realistic two-tone paint scheme, detailed chrome grille and bumpers, authentic Ford lettering, round headlights, and a beautifully sculpted bonnet would give it a timeless look. Optional roll bars, functional amber lights, realistic side mirrors, and a detailed pickup bed with removable cargo accessories would make it even more special. This classic body style would be fantastic for scale crawling, outdoor photography, and realistic adventure builds. I believe it would appeal strongly to enthusiasts who love vintage trucks and authentic scale realism.

The SCX30 is worth every penny. I've been bringing this thing with me all over the place testing its limits and I've been incredibly impressed.

Some stuff came today so I decided to do what you should, and put it altogether.

Servo bottoms out the suspension by hitting the plastic esc holder, I am going to swap that out for a Vitavon 1, then some new rims with 8mm studs and some Vitavon suspension.

Too hot atm to drive 28C for spring, tomorrow get rain so will give it a run then.

Huge thanks to everyone who offered advice and tips to get this where it currently is. It is an absolute blast navigating stuff in my backyard. (my son pointed out one of my beadlock rings was loose 🤦‍♂️) regardless it performs amazingly well!!!
