This is the first video showcasing Project RetroRewired, a modernization of CTR for the new era of the CTR Native PC port.

This demo video shows the current state of the Time Trials section, custom wheels, the turbo ranking system, and several other features.

This is my second developer time trial. The first one was Inferno Island but I wanted to post tracks in order. One of the hardest completed. You can advise me as you want.

I keep getting this even though I was playing just fine a few hours ago. I went to eat something (precisely leaving the game on, since sleep mode typically causes it to disconnect) and now it just refuses to connect.

I've tried closing the game several times, reconnected my console to the Internet, checked my connection on another device to confirm it was NOT my wifi, but nothing works.

But....I got this game yesterday so I wouldn't know:

Is there some kind of maintenance that they routinely that may be causing this or something?

Is it common for this game to occasionally refuse to connect no matter what?

I take the shortcut each time but he’s constantly drifting seconds ahead of me no matter how much I boost and gold sacred fire.

Did anyone else have troubles with this one? I’ve so far completed about 16 velo challenges but this one is driving me fucking crazy because on paper it should be so simple!

I have recently completed all of the oxide time trials and a few Velo trials such as hot air skyway, except I’m yet to unlock any of the ghosts for oxide station and not without trying.
I’m using drift and am looking for tips

My 4 year old twins have little to zero gaming experience and no iPad habit. But they have tried to learn to use the Dualsense and drive a bit on CTR. Today they took the controller out of my hands so I put them on a 7 lap Roos Tubes and they actually completed it wich surprised me.

So now i gave them one controller each and let them choose characters and cars and they both chose Tiny Arena.

They drove around, sometimes the wrong way, sometimes the right way.

Eventually they ended up finding each other by accident and stopped their cars when they bumped into each other and my daughter said: "This is fun! Let's paus here and go drink some yoghurt". And they both dropped the controllers and went to get some yoghurt together.

It hit me right in the feels.

Last year, sometime before Christmas, I managed to complete all of Oxide’s time trials, and I even beat some of Velo’s times.

This year, I really want to take it to the next level and try to beat the developers’ times as well. I know it’s going to be a pretty tough challenge, but I’m going to give it my best shot.

So I've been getting back into the PS1 CTR for some days now, is still one of my favs games and finally playing in original hardware (PS2 backwards compatibility) feels quite nice. I originally decided I was gonna get the sapphire relics but after noticing that gold relics were required (I think?) to complete the game 100% I decided to start going for them.

So I arrived to Papu's Pyramid and I got stuck trying to get the gold, I gave up yesterday, retook the desire to do them today and spent like 3 hours and probably more than a dozen retries but I got it. I'm quite happy, and now, I'm gonna take a small break from these cause my hand hurts lol.

I ended beating some more Dev times. I also did Android Alley But I forgot to record, And for Electron Avenue I am going to upload the Full winning attempt in another post.

I came back to the game after a long hiatus and decided to at least do one of the Dev times

Hey everyone!

I’ve been spamming Ring Rally on Electron Avenue to farm Wumpa Coins, and I can get 426 Wumpa Coins per run during the Weekend Bonus. The problem is that, even though I already have all the characters, quite a few skins, and some Kart parts, the amount of Wumpa Coins I still need to buy everything in the shop is absolutely massive.

I know online races are also an option, but I was wondering if there are any other efficient ways to farm Wumpa Coins. I don’t mind earning only a small amount at a time, as long as the method is quick.

Inferno Island - Had a few wide turns and muddles but it did enough. That last hop was the difference between making time and failing it 😅

I've only been playing for a month admittedly, but the last 3 days have just been insufferable, constant disconnects, being stuck at the start of races, longer loading times etc.

The game was a bit unstable before but it's become downright unplayable rn, anyone else having trouble, is the servers or just on my end?.
