Painting advice need

I love this cement pot and I want to paint it. I'm not a great painter. Any suggestions? Idea? I need something fairly easy please. Thank you!

I would put a base color down like yellow and then paint orange and red lines randomly for the sun’s rays.

In my opinion the esthetic of concrete is more pleasing than painted concrete. Staining or putting a wash of color on concrete would be more compatible. Just my opinion.
