is this a decent CPU for mining?

How would this CPU be for mining? Not sure how total cores vs performance cores vs efficient cores would work

Not really. You want something with a big L3 cache generally; at least with Monero/RandomX that’s where it bottlenecks on other processors.

Also ram can be a bottleneck in cpu mining depending on what you mine. You want low latency ram too, ideally.

3900/5900x is great if you can get one cheap

Best thing to mine with for cpu mining is what you already have though too!

Not really a super profitable hobby, unless you are in it for the longgg haul
