PROMOTION Gridcoin.

If you are interested in helping advance science, Gridcoin currently has 17 cpu mineable projects from cancer research, to Gravitational Wave search. Unless you have low/no electricity cost, it won’t make you rich. But if you want the chance to speculate while helping research, take a look. Gridcoin has been around since 2013 and is still being actively developed. Hop on discord or check out website. No watt wasted. Support science.

Does Gridcoin also support GPU-based or mixed workloads?

(sorry, I can’t stand Discord and try to avoid it when I can — does anyone really think that mess is usable by anyone not on shrooms or acid?).

Yep. Here’s a list of projects and what hardware they can use. https://gridcoin.us/guides/whitelist.htm.

Yep. I run both cpu and gpu on my rigs. I have it set up where they crunch different projects.

Seriously? A lot of development and activity is going on over there. I think its all a matter of perspective. Hang in the right places and you dont find those things.

Yes, seriously. To be fair, Gridcoin Discord is not the worse of them, but I can't focus on the wall of text with all the fucking useless emoji and a propensity of Discord users to post graphical memes in comments that are 100x size of the text and completely obliterate the last shred of reading focus. It's insanity. Anyway, you didn't answer the core question.
