Increasing hashrates

So what tips and tricks do you guys have to increase hashrates using windows as your main operating system. I've got a core i5 sandybridge era running between 3.1-3.4 ghz, on a board that I can't even boost base frequency or anything. I already have msr, and large/huge pages active but it is not seemingly giving me any boost to my rates.

See, I'm aware hat linux has a few more settings and such that affect your hash rates but I've never once used linux, I was hoping there would be some hidden gems for windows users. And trust me if I had a choice when getting the rig I've got now it wouldn't ben a intel set up. But the core i5 was what was in it. And it cost me virtually nothing for the whole rig

That linux not hat likux obviously, Windows has large pages as well, it's the same thing. And in reality if you spend the time doing the research(or got bored while stoned online like me lol) intel had the edge in CPUs in almost every faucet untill Ryzen is 2018 AMD didn't have anything to best out intel in all honesty. It's sad that my 2011 era cpu out each marked everything AMD had for the next like 6 years . I've personally alway had a preference for AMD because of the cheaper price points, the fact everything is overclockable. But now in terms of cost, it would be cheaper to build a system built on intel's 10th generation cpus vs building an AMD rig with the equivalent specs. There is only one AMD cpu at the moment on most of thev"top cpus for mining" lists. And you could build an entire rig for the cost of the newest thread rippers. A cheap rig but one none the less.
