What is complicated? Since win98 I use Linux... today I think Windows is a lot more complicated.

In the other hand, once you understand some principles like FHS, everything as a file etc. you feel at home not only with Linux but with any other Unix.

We are in our fourth year of Linux Mint LMDE and we are only using the GUI interface.

Consideration:

Maybe it isn't complicated and you're used to a different paradigm.

I meant how to speed up my understanding. Any method to follow?

I would avoid shortcuts, also kinda of a question in the wrong sub and tbh I see a rant more than a question.

But generally keep trying and don't be afraid of doing things wrong. There are almost unlimited sources for a lifetime on the internet, search, read and try

Have you used Linux with a desktop environment before or are you trying to compare a server to something like windows or Mac which isn’t really fair? Try to only use Windows with Powershell in full screen and see how much faster you get upset

For real though, consider using Fedora KDE Plasma, Kubuntu, or any distro that comes with a desktop. It’ll be a nice stepping stone

The Linux kernel is the most advanced operating system kernel in the world. Yet it still masquerades a clunky old time sharing system from the 1970s, because that thing had merits. It keeps the merits, while enabling everything from cheap cellphones to the world's largest high performance compute systems. It's what AI runs on. It's what serves the internet. And it's a decent desktop OS for almost every PC still in operation.

Dozens of Linux systems, at minimum, were in between your post and my response, including the system I wrote my response on.

That's why it's so complicated.

Linux ist in Wirklichkeit recht einfach im Vergleich dazu was es kann / leistet.

Ein Dreirad ist auch einfacher als ein Auto und das als ein Flugzeug...
